Markos is sadly closing May 26th 2025 our landlord will not extend our lease, HOWEVER WE WILL BE BACK BETTER THAN BEFORE !!!!! Markos Diner will be moving to 16541 San Carlo Blvd Fort Myers Fl 33908, just a few doors down from our old location. We will be moving into this location hopefully by December 2025 when construction is completed. Offering Breakfast,Lunch and Dinner we will become a pizzeria and sports bar all into one !!! Super classic dive diner with a local groove. I’m not sure the history of this place but I’m pretty confident it’s been around for a good spot of time. We sat outside which was nice and the menu is pretty standard breakfast food, which is perfectly alright. I got french toast with a blueberry drizzle, but they brought me fresh blueberries instead so our waitress made sure to get me the drizzle as well and I just got to have both, it was awesome. It wasn’t crazy good food but it was good and I’d for sure come back again. The coffee was actually decent too. Cute place!

The pancakes are fluffy and hot with a great portion size. Crispy bacon cooked to perfection.
Cold and filtered tasting water.
We had the big Marcos breakfast and the
Corned beef hash skillet with a side of hollandaise.
Definitely a Cozy breakfast place. Nice countertop and booths for seating. Had the corned beef hash skillet with a side of bacon. Bacon came out crispy. Someone next to me ordered the sausage gravy and it looked very good. Will have to try that in my next visit.

My wife and I went today for the first time. We both got omelettes. Vegetables were chopped finely, cheese was totally melted and the omelette was fluffy. Grits were great too. Service was awesome. Loved the vibe, caught up on the news, had great coffee, all this for a total of 30.00 for two people…. All in on this place.

Hmmm. Old diner building kinda run down, clean though. The hash browns were burnt tasting and not good, but everything else was great although greasy. Great service, fast! I would eat here again but Martis across the street is better sorry 🙂 Also the biscuits & gravy MEH :/ not so good

Hours 7 am -2 pm. Breakfast and lunch served. Indoor seating and patio seating. Always a warm welcome, prompt service. Reasonable prices. Food served exactly as you ordered it. Next year we will be back!! Always love supporting locally owned businesses.

Great breakfast food with very nice servers. It looked like an old dinner but was clean and nice. Had a fun atmosphere and overall a great place would come again.

My son and I were looking for an early lunch or a breakfast place. We came upon Marko’s Diner. A little place tons of cars in the parking lot. When we walked in, it was like walking into a party. Everyone was laughing, talking having conversation. A hostess came right to us. My son has this new thing when we go out to eat. He asked the waitress to bring him the best breakfast they have. I ordered 2 eggs and gyro meat and tomatoes. People were so friendly their. The booth next to us and across the isle were talking to us and joking. I kinda felt like i was home having Christmas breakfast. It had that homey charm. My breakfast was so good Gyro meat was shaved it was so thin it was delicious! My son loved his breakfast to it was so big he took half home..this place is not so close to my house. I have to say im coming back to Marko’s is worth the drive!

What to say about Marko’s Diner?
This is hands down one of the best breakfasts I have had in my life. The whole experience is great. They have many presentation options for the meals and the speed is unbelievable.
Everyone is wearing masks and they follow social distancing by closing off every other table with tape so nobody even sits down by mistake.
The food is a great marriage of Greek and American traditions but undeniably Greek in nature.
The decoration is also well done, combining classic diner with greek decor.
Must have! And ask for the bald guy!

We ordered Eggs Benedict and a Skillet.
This was our second visit and we got something different then our first trip.
Both experiences have been delish. I will say the Eggs Benedict was sensational. My daughter loves the biscuits and gravy.
We just relocated and this will be our breakfast spot.
