Came here for the first time in my life and the first time was so good I actually came back a second time. The chicken chunks with the chili and the jalapenos were absolutely great. The nacho appetizer tastes great. The first time the coleslaw was really good the second time not so much so I’m not quite sure what the inconsistency is there. Overall it is a nice locally owned restaurant. I’m sure I’ll be back for my third time.

As with most places, service can be hit or miss depending on your server and what day it is. Service and food literally could not have been better today. Cajun chicken nachos were so good that I almost ordered more to take home for later. – Happy dude with a full belly

I ordered the Mexican buffet as a takeout for our lunch group. Service was very fast. The food is excellent. The people like the chicken and the beef. The beans I like as well as the rice also. Thanks to Ashley, the catering manager for organizing a smooth lunch.

From out of town, taking an adventure alone on my Harley, stopped in and the place was very busy. I ordered a drink and sat on the patio alone. The bartender who was very busy and very good at her job checked on me several times. She was very nice, accommodating and helpful!! Thank you so much Kelly for everything!!!! Wow, they’ve made a few changes since Nick passed away and new owners took over.
But the food definitely isn’t the same.
Specifically the pizza
Nick & Jimmy’s pizza went from being one of the top in the city to I would have to say, it’s circling the drain now.
The dough itself now tastes more like a stiff bread. What happened to their pizza??!!
When it use to be served the waitress would. Come to your table with a container full of red paper flakes and a container of freshly shredded parmesean. Now, they give you a small sealed package of each.
I use to eat here daily and was here for their opening day.
So,it’s disappointing to see the place going in the wrong direction.

It’s been about 10 years since I moved from Toledo and the same amount of time since having a chance to go to Nick & Jimmy’s. This place hasn’t changed much and the chicken sandwich is still great.
