Old Blind Dog Pub in Milton completely surprised me — in the best way possible! I’ve always loved Braveheart, and this place is filled with memorabilia from the movie. I literally sat next to William Wallace himself (yep, a full-sized statue), and the whole pub feels like stepping back in time — rustic, cozy, and full of character.

We arrived a few minutes before 11 a.m., got seated right away, and parking was no issue. The service was friendly and quick.

We started with Buffalo Chicken Egg Rolls and Deviled Eggs — both were delicious. The egg rolls were crispy with great flavor, and the deviled eggs had bacon on top and a mild taste that anyone would enjoy.

My wife ordered Mom’s Meatloaf, which came sliced over mashed potatoes and green beans with gravy — moist, flavorful, and comforting. I had their signature Braveheart Fish & Chips, which they’ve apparently been serving for 14 years and is their best seller (according to the menu), and now I see why. The fish was fried perfectly, golden and crispy, with great fries and tartar sauce.

Even the bathroom fit the theme, with a Braveheart movie poster. Overall, it’s a fun and unique pub with great food, service, and atmosphere. I’m already planning to come back to try their BLT and Monte Cristo sandwich. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for good food and a fun experience in Milton.

This is a real cool Irish pub. Most of each booth or table has its own enclosed space, some even with detailed locations. It’s always clean, the service is great and the food is delicious. Everything we have tried was tasty but we love their Guinness Onion soup! So good!

Johnny is the best server/bar tender ever. Colin, one of the owners, is super personable. And the food…OMG was amazing! The Full Irish is heavenly, but on a cold night like tonight, the Irish stew was absolute bliss. This place is a balm to a homesick Irish lass.

Neat Irish pub serving standard Irish/British pub food. Atmosphere is cozy, with every booth being decorated differently. The food was pretty good, though a bit salty(makes sense, considering where you’re at). Looking forward to returning and trying out the rest of the menu.

It’s been several years since I ate here, so I was excited to be invited to meet a friend for dinner last week. I was not disappointed. The food was as delicious as I recalled and our waitress was wonderful! The atmosphere is unlike any other “pub” I’ve visited in the area and the set up stays true to it’s Irish roots, complete with private booths (called “snugs”), if you want a bit more privacy. It was the first time my friend has eaten here and we both were very happy that it lived up to my expectations (and memory). We will definitely be back again.

Update to my last review: Still have only good things to say about Olde Blind Dog! Came back last week with 2 friends and everyone enjoyed the food. This time I had the Short Rib Quesadilla with the Guinness Onion Soup. Both were delicious, however I cannot stress enough how incredibly DELICIOUS the soup was! The BEST onion soup I have ever had! It was awesome! One of my dining companions had the Bangers and Mash and the other chose the grilled Grouper Sandwich, which was a special that evening. No complaints from either one. We ended the evening sharing the Bailey’s Cheesecake, which I was so excited about that I forgot to take a photo – enough said. 😉
It was a fun night with good food and good friends!

One of the best, if not THE best Irish pub in the greater Atlanta area. I have yet to have Irish Pub food that can hold a candle to OBD outside of actually being in Ireland.

First, the service and the bar staff are friendly and attentive, and the set up of the pub gives you that old world pub feel so many US pubs just don’t take the time to execute. They make it a great neighborhood regular spot as well as a must to visit pub.

The Guinness is poured perfectly, the scotch and Irish whiskey selection is extensive, the traditional Irish fare is on par with what I’ve had in Ireland, the sandwiches crush, and the pub cheese dip and pretzel bread is not your average pub dip, and I have yet to find one comparable elsewhere. I mean, seriously, this dip haunts my dreams.

I’ve been here three times now. Each time it’s been a great meal. I love the atmosphere of this place so much. It’s beautiful inside, you really feel like your in an old time Irish pub and I know as I’ve visited Ireland multiple times. 🙂 I’m Scott Irish.

The service has always been great.

I highly recommend the meat loaf sandwich and the clam chowder. They are my favorites. Full bar which is well stocked. I can say my party was not impressed with the fish and chips. The fish coating was very greasy, perhaps the oil was not hot enough but with all the other options this wasn’t a big deal.

If your in the area definitely visit this pub. I highly recommend it.

From the storefront to the moment we walked inside, we were immediately transported back to Ireland, which holds a special place in our heart.

The Mom’s Meatloaf was made with a ground beef and lamb blend, served over mashed potatoes and topped with a Guinness BBQ sauce.

The Bangers and Mash is a true pub staple. It came with three pork sausage bangers served on top of mashed potatoes and peas and topped with brown gravy. You will want more gravy than what was served with it. Trust.

Then comes the classic Corned Beef and Cabbage. The Corned Beef is perfectly tender and served with beer braised cabbage, potatoes and carrots. Braising the vegetables in beer gave them an added sweetness.

Our server, Matt, was friendly and quick.

Everything here was so good, but again we could be bias because how much we love and miss Ireland, but this was a great filler until we get back!

The vibes and decor are great. Food lackluster for the price. I saw other reviews saying the same thing so I guess they don’t care. I’m not confrontational so I just pay and never go back. The 2 pieces of non seasoned greasy fish and soup were 18$. The soup was alright
