Another great meal and great time. Hamburger steak, mashed potatoes, BBQ and pub chips were outstanding! Much better than local chain restaurants and cheaper too! The fellowship my husband and I had with Vicky and her mom was very pleasant as well.

Went with some friends on Halloween. We got all dressed up and many of the staff were too! We had a very good time. The previous day had been my birthday and my friends was on Halloween, one of the people working (I think her name was Miss Vicky but I can’t quite remember) sang and brought out cake for us and it was wonderful! (Photo was taken after dinner, just wanted to show off our costumes)

We were in town visiting Tweetsie Railroad and decided to give them a try. Entering it looks like a fun little establishment. Our server was very nice but the service seemed a little slow. I understand it was a Friday night but there still tables open. Food was middle of the mall. I had the Baloney sandwich. It was good but got a little soggy after a few minutes. The pub chips were good but they were soft instead of crunchy like they should have been.

First time coming here, wasn’t really sure what to expect. Right off the bat I wasn’t too impressed with the menu. Just didn’t seem to have that much appealing to me. I got a burger and my fiancé got chicken tenders. The burger was in fact pretty good. Her tenders were good but seemed kinda of small for the price. Which the prices did seem kinda high to me. They did have a pretty extensive collection of some whiskeys/bourbons. With that said I’m in no rush to hurry back here. But may try it sometime again who knows.

I have been away from home working in Lenoir. A couple of team mates and me found this humble, friendly pub type restaurant and have become “regulars”,
They treat us like they have known us forever. The food is very good, but the staff is really what makes tis place shine. We also have had very good conversation with the other customers and regulars.
I have found a place that makes me feel some of the familiarness of home.

We had a WONDERFUL visit here. Tierra was fantastic and the food was delicious. Our kiddos enjoyed it, as well, lots to see and do here. Warm, homey atmosphere and really great food. We LOVE that a portion of the proceeds go to help veterans in need. Thanks for a lovely visit, well definitely be back!

Service for lunch was sketchy at best as the entirety of the staff was engaged in a conversation at the end of the bar. People were arranged to accommodate the arrival of someone’s mother. There was a disconnect between that which was ordered and that which was delivered.

I never give really low scores. This place deserves better. Honestly, they do. We were excited to try it. We heard good things.
We had horrible service. She was very friendly and happy and nice. But gave horrible service.
This was our first time. Food was actually really good and fresh. Server apologized several times that the restaurant was so backed up. It was not the restaurant!
The other servers served their clients quickly, efficiently, appropriately. We were seated for 15 minutes before we were acknowledged. We were waiting for our party to be complete. After our party was complete it was 20 minutes for she noticed and took their drink order.
I am not exaggerating, we were there for 2 hours for a meal that should have been 45 minutes.
Tables that came in after us were served and completed before our order was taken. We got there at 5:30 pm got our food at 7:04 pm. We were done by 7:30 pm because I chased her down and handed her my card while she was at the computer.
Slow service i can handle if everyone is waiting. But not 2 hours for bar food.
She had 4 tables that she served together. We were first, 5 top. Then a 6 top that seemed to be locals and friendly with her. Then a 3 top and a 2 top. We were there 25 minutes before the 6 top. And the other 2 came in about 15 minutes apart. She disappeared a lot. And came through delivering drinks to everyone.
At 6:30 pm She took our order first and then went to the other 3 tablea.
We were there first. Her 6 tops that she was friendly with got their food 15 before we got ours. We waited for an hour and a half for food!!
I was giving a 1 star review. But before we left, “grandma”, I think she had to be the owner. She was very sweet and friendly, she treated us like we were family. She just wanted to make sure all the food was good. It was. She didn’t ask about the service otherwise I would have told her.
Honestly if we had any other server this would have been a 4 or 5 star review. They all waited on their tables and got them in and out.
I feel bad for writing this because I know it’s not easy. But it was aweful service and we had places to be after a long day. She was nice but not good at serving. We still tipped well because I know that’s how they make a living.
Before we left there was a 2 top seated next to us that waited 20 minutes to be recognized and get menus. Same server.
We won’t be going back.
