Wow, GREAT experience! Service was quick and personable, atmosphere was clean and soft music,
Our 2nd time here, this note is from 1st visit…..

The food, oh the food! We are both Gluten Free and most of the menu was safe, all of it was delicious
Only caution, if you don’t like hot food be sure to mention it upfront. My wife ordered a meal and asked for MILD, first bite flavor was awesome, then the heat came

2nd visit….
Absolutely phenomenal. Happy took care of us and he was very joyful and attentive. Definitely listened to my wife and she had no problem with the “heat”. All the food was amazing, the flavors were out of this world. I will mention again if you are gluten-free or dairy free, you definitely need to check this place out, if you are not having issues with any allergies, you still need to check it out this is definitely on our list of favorites for Wake Forest food.

We had dinner Saturday night and it was absolutely delicious! Was planning to get the butter chicken (as I am not so fond of spicy food) however, our server suggested the Chicken Methi Malai and it was perfect! So glad they are able to adjust the spice levels here! Portions are generous, atmosphere/interior decor is really beautiful, and the staff were attentive and kind. Thanks for a great dining experience!

My wife and I would always get carry out from here and door dash it sometimes. The food was always phenomenal. We recently had some family come into town to visit and they wanted to try something new. We decided to go sit down and they did not disappoint. The service was excellent, the staff were friendly and the food was 10 out of 10 as always. This is one of our favorite restaurants in all of North Carolina.

We came in and were seated fairly quickly, although next to the kitchen swinging door that kept swinging because of food being taken out to seated customers and more importantly for take out delivery drivers.
It seemed that the one server/bartender/ host/ busboy, was rushing everything including food order and more concerned with takeout orders than the paying customers in restaurant.
Food was good, although the crispy chips that were first brought out with the two dips were stale.
In short, more attention to in house customers and when they ask to be moved to another table because of noise from kitchen door, accommodate them.
Would I go there again?
Probably not, just do a take out because it’s not worth it for inferior service and noise from doors.

We have enjoyed Indian food for years, in many restaurants, but the meal we had today at Lazeez was the best ever, anywhere. My favorite is the spinach dish with cheese and today’s seemed to have an extra dimension of flavor and richness.Same for the lamb biriyani! The lamb was as tender as could be, and the way it was presented was a lovely surprise. It came under a mound of rice that was full of little special extras like almonds and shredded vegetables. The plain naan was just perfect … hot, flaky, fragrant and crispy. It’s a cold day so we ordered hot tea with the meal, and even that was delightful. It turned out to be chai tea, with lovely spices and a bit of creaminess.

Lazeez has amazing food. Everything is properly seasoned, you can ask for mild and actually get mild, the garlic naan is out of this world amazing as is the Samosa Chaat, the portion sizes are generous, prices are about average for a sit down Indian restaurant, and the staff is efficient and friendly without being overbearing.

It has easily and quickly become our favorite Indian food in Wake Forest.

I ordered food from Lazeez for take out for the first time didn’t expect too much but I was impressed after I tried the food. The Chicken Methi Malai was really good, and the Butter Chicken was delicious as well. The chicken was tender, and the curry was flavorful. They gave a side that I don’t know what it is, kind of like relish. It was so good when you eat it with curry. I’ll go for dine-in and try more food there for sure!

Quite yummy!

The setting is quaint but the prices are great considering how good the food is! I highly recommend the Thai Ginger with Steak.

My kids love it here too.
The establishment is family/kid friendly.

Parking can be tight but it’ll be alright.

The staff is friendly and welcoming.
The service is quick and food cubes in a timely fashion.

The large table in the corner is a wee bit tight.

Update: stopped in again and it is still amazing. It’s over an hour and 20 mins for us to get here and it’s totally worth the drive. We will be trying the Ricky Mount location next.

Stopped by for lunch on a Sunday. Ordered off the VEGAN menu, yes you heard me! They have a plainly marked vegan menu. Food made cruelty free for the win! We ordered tandoori roti, began bhartha, gobI Manchurian and mixed pakora. Everything was fantastic. The server was amazing. Very friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be back.
