Love this place normally but the past couple times, the margaritas were a total waste of money. All I taste is the mix and triple sec. This time on top of that, hardly any ice or salt on the rim. Not okay for $15 each!! Our server did give us 2 tequila shots for free to make up for it, so that was appreciated.

First time back here after several years and I was blown away by the service, speed of the kitchen, and flavor of the food! My sever was ON THE BALL (sorry, didn’t get his name). He even took my bill & money to the register & cashed me out while I was still getting “situated to leave”. I didn’t feel rushed either – felt like I-want-to-help-you-out kind of situation. I arrived around 5pm (on a weekday) and they weren’t super busy. Their salsa is delicious too. It is a mild salsa, but does have a bit of a tongue tingle. I was also automatically given extra napkins (yay!) and brought a refill before it was needed. He even brought me a to-go cup.

The best mexican restaurant in the area , This time I had the T- Bone Steak Tampiquena which comes with a side of salad , it was very good , a tender T-bone with the delicious rice and beans , I added sautéed mushrooms and enjoyed so much . We had the steak fajita nachos, the fiesta fajitas, and the kid’s menu cheese quesadilla. The food was phenomenal. The steak was juicy and flavourful, as were the chicken and shrimp. The salsa was vibrant and has just the right amount of spiciness for everyone at the table to be able to enjoy. We finished of the meal with the Rustin Apple Tart and the Tres Leche Cake. Both of these were outstanding. Would recommend 100%

Service was excellent, Simon was attentive and extra in his service. Look forward to our next visit. Fajitas and Cheese Steak were awesome.
Only drawback was restaurant could use a bit of cleaning, menus wiped down, dusting, cleaning of plants, etc.

This was my first time to El Rio Grande. I was a little intimidated, as I like Mexican food, but am a finicky/picky eater. The menu is very Diverse with LOTS of options including VEGETARIAN choices. I was able to pick options with simple ingredients that I enjoy & are flavorful. Drink options are GREAT. The PRICES are unbelievable. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Just ordered the “Pollo bandido” and a street taco for dinner. Hardly NO cheese on the chicken and it was messy by the time i got home, beans all over the chicken, what wae left of the hardly there queso all over the beans. Really??? Street taco wasn’t too bad ..u get what you get. Might need to learn to cook this at home FOR CHEAP AND REAL next time.

My boss and I met here for lunch a couple days ago, and we really enjoyed ourselves! The place is well decorated, and the food was delicious. We both wanted a certain dish but we both had different special requests for it. Both our plates came out perfect and the service is top notch! Will definitely be back when I’m in the area.
