This is the cutest cafe/art gallery! So many unique drinks options, and vegan baked goods! Very vegan friendly overall! You can browse handmade crafts, jewelry, and goods and then grab a delicious drink all in a little shop with the coziest vibes! I got the hippie latte and chocolate chip muffin and both were delicious! The service was amazing, the staff were so friendly! Overall a phenomenal experience!

I absolutely loved the ambiance of this café, it’s warm, cozy, and beautifully designed. The atmosphere makes it the perfect place to sit back and relax with a great cup of coffee. I tried the Coco Mocha Nut and it was simply amazing! The flavors were rich and perfectly balanced. On top of that, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Definitely a place I’d love to come back to!

Lucky Tree Coffee House / Art Cafe is such a Raleigh landmark and find !! Originally opened in 2015 by twin sisters ~ Amanda & Ashley ~ it provides the most unique vibe in a full service coffee cafe plus art gallery, providing art of over 50 artists most of them ‘locals’. The bohemian vibe is so easy going and welcome in and amongst the more ‘fast paced’ industrial coffee shoppes … we love it here and every visit is unique to that visit !! See y’all again soon !!

Place is very cute inside with lots of boutique items to buy. It is however over run with students which is fine except seating can be hard to get and many students for some reason leave their lectures or their phones playing videos loud rather than using headphones. Not sure what that trend is about. That said the cafe was kind enough to use the mug I brought in so I wouldn’t have to waste a cup.

Everything about this place was spot on, except the actual coffee we ordered. My choc chip muffin was good; I love that it was made with wholesome ingredients. My order was an iced matcha, honey and ?? with oat milk. I received a hot drink and all I could taste was the oat milk. My daughter didn’t even finish her iced whatever.
I would stop again, anyway, for the food selection, the decor, the relaxed atmosphere, the local art and it had easy parking.

Incredible spot! The coffee is delicious and the baked goods are to die for! They have a wheat-free kitchen so makes ordering very easy for us looking for gluten-free items. They also mostly use vegan items for their recipes too which is a great plus! The biscuit bites, blueberry muffin, and chocolate chip muffin were all very good!! Highly recommend! They have another location located in Moore Square too which we tried soon after we went to this location. Thank you! We’ll be back!

Came here for the first time yesterday and it was AMAZING! I love how they have items for sale from local artisans in the community! Food and drinks are the bomb.com too! I love the cocoa cacao muffin and tomato basil bites—which my mom loves too since she has a gluten intolerance. Will be coming back soon 🙂

We had the coca mocha nut and bullet coffee. Both of them had a unique flavor and added flavors did not over power the taste of the coffee. We also order a cookie and. chocolate muffin. The quality of the cookie and muffin was good. I can tell its fresh. I prefer more breaded texture baked goods, this was more flaky. I would recommend all of the items we ordered. The atmosphere had a relaxed vibe. I liked there unique decorations in the shop. Each sitting area had character. A good mix of seating options from 1-2 seat tables to target group sitting areas. There is also seating in the common area of the building where Luckys is located.

One of the best things about Lucky tree is all the local art and fares, in addition to the wheat free decadent treats, and creative coffee menu. Great vibe to catch up on emails at your laptop, or chat with friends.
We especially love that it’s a quick 5 minute walk from the Arboretum and Botanical Gardens, such a lovely way to spend a warm morning, in the midst of all the cool trees, sipping on a delicious beverage and devouring a double chocolate gluten- free muffin!
