I ordered pepperoni pizza, breadsticks, and a 2 liter of Pepsi around 12:40pm. It said pick-up time was 1:05pm. When I arrived and told the gentleman at the register my name and order number, he looked at the screen and said it wasn’t ready. I asked how much longer. He said they hadn’t started making the order yet. He never told me how long it would take. There were several other customers there that also looked upset. At one point a door-dash driver got tired of waiting and simply left. So I decided to wait thinking it can only be 5-10 minutes tops. While I’m waiting I noticed how dirty the store was. On the counter where the dips are supposed to be kept, they were empty and filthy. In one of the cubbies, it looked like human hair had collected there. I don’t think it’s been cleaned in months. At around 1:30pm the man said my order was ready.(25 minutes after it was supposed to be ready) He started to hand it to me when the lady in the back asked him where the pizza was?! He said, right here. She then told him that was the wrong pizza! He then had to go back and grab another one. I then walked over to get the Pepsi. It looked like nobody had bothered to stock the cooler. They had no Pepsi in there except for 1 cherry Pepsi. I will not be going back here. I think the health department needs to do a thorough walk through. I also noticed that this place has had multiple bad reviews for similar things in the past several months. The owner needs to address multiple issues with this place. I’m reaching out to their corporate office next week.

**3-7-2026 Update: (Calls were made over a 2 week span)
I called the corporate office.
Call #1–They told me that the district manager named “Rock” would be calling me. Nobody called me.
Call #2–I called the corporate office again and told them “Rock” never called. They said they would reach out to him again. I told them I was just wanting to talk about the experience, not to yell at anyone. Nobody called.
Call #3–I called corporate again and asked to speak to the regional manager since “Rock” would not call customers. They refused to give me the regional managers contact or name. They did reimburse me for the check. Nobody called again.
**The owner should try and sell the store or leave the franchise. Why would you invest in a company that won’t even speak to its customers?

awful. sat on the phone on hold for 40 minutes 2/7/26 because they cancelled our order 15 minutes before it was supposed to be picked up and gave us no reason. when they finally answered the phone, they hung up as soon as i started to speak. tonight, 2/8/26 i order online for pickup at 10, not cancelled but i get it home and it’s completely burnt. absolutely terrible place. i will be taking my business to another location.

Disgusting . The marinara was like tomato paste . The dough on the pizza wasn’t done and all the cheese and toppings slid off when you grabbed it. Breadsticks were horrible . We will NEVER eat here again . I’ve never experienced a little ceases this bad

We were so excited till found our bites were made wrong. We are picky pizza eaters because we know what it taste like when make right. Plus our 2nd sauce was barely 1/2 full. Told my daughter to call but she said won’t go back. Tried what was to be pepperoni bite but was not that. Not sure what these was topped with.

We ordered a pizza and breadsticks online for pickup. The breadsticks had so much butter on them I couldn’t even find it appetizing. i’ve worked in italian before so we made breadsticks and it looks like you just poured the whole scoop of butter in one area and didn’t brush it onto the rest of the breadstick. Please do better I was looking forward to this food.

Didn’t receive a notification that the order was ready. The crazy puffs were less than an 1/2 inche thin, dry and over cooked. The pizza wasn’t sliced. It was very frustrating.

Went into tonight. And we were the only ones there, guy took our order and told us it would be 10.minutes. we waited, and then after that it started to get busy. This is when we found out the guy was there with no help. The one other person there wasn’t trained to make pizza or take orders. Waited 50 minutes before getting our food and when we left store was full of people waiting on food. The guy didn’t even tell anyone that it would be over a hour to get food as he was taking orders. If we knew we wouldn’t have ordered.

By far the worst experience I’ve ever had at a pizza place. Got pizza a few weeks ago, it was completely wrong. Called. DM called and offered a credit. Go tonight to use the credit to get dinner for my family. Get there, not ready. Whatever. Wait. The kid working the wrong got an attitude when I told him it wasn’t correct. I asked for it to be remade and he got pissy saying he wasn’t going to remake the entire order. Threw what *was* right in the hot box for 15 mins. Go to use my credit. Get my manager over so she can apply. She gets huffy when I tell her it’s $20 and not $15. She runs out and grabs a book, assuming waste, and mumbles about having to write it off. My entire order is sitting on the counter for 10 mins at this point getting cold. The original pizzas had been done 30 mins at this point. I ask if we can put them in the hotbox at least, get an eye roll. The manager is fumbling with the pos system like she doesn’t know what she’s doing. Asks if she can just out my name down for another day. I’m like my kids are hungry. She gets huffy talking about a full screen, I ask how long it’ll take and she goes over and looks and says about 25-30 mins. I’m sorry but as a previous GM of a well known pizza place – remakes take priority. Especially if the customer is in the store. I went out to my car to wait and my husband finally told me to just come home that it wasn’t worth it. The entire experience from the orders being wrong to the nasty employees and manager that didn’t know what she was doing. It’s enough to make me never want to go back and tell everyone to stay away. Grube St used to be the best and now it’s not even worth dealing with the hassle to get mediocre pizza.

Orders are never ready on time. We regularly will place an order online at 11am for a 4:45pm pickup and we’re lucky to have the order by 5:30pm. We’ve called corporate, we’ve talked to district managers and unfortunately everyone seems to be completely useless or just simply ok with failing to meet customer expectations regularly.

I’m a door dash deliverer and the orders are never ready, people stand around not doing anything but gripping, no one cares to check why people are in the small lobby, workers are rude, soda is not stocked, no carry out pizzas ready…I’ve been here 3x
