First of all, we arrived at 6:00 p.m. and had to wait about 50 minutes for a table. Once seated, we waited another 40 minutes for our meals. With that being said, expect long wait times if you come on a Friday or Saturday.
It was our first time here, and the place is really nice, clean, with an awesome country style atmosphere.
Chelsea was our waitress, and she was extremely polite and attentive. She took her time explaining how the place works and what the daily meal specials were.
My wife ordered a jalapeño margarita and said it was fantastic. We had baked potatoes with cheese and bacon as an appetizer, which were very good. The sweet tea was delicious.
For our main course, we ordered the “stuffed” hamburger, and wow, the size of the patty was incredible. I’ve never had such a monstrosity in front of me. I believe it’s about one pound of pure meat, freshly cooked, stuffed with bacon and cheese. I barely finished mine, and my wife only ate half and took the rest to go.
Although we were disappointed by the long wait, the atmosphere and the delicious fresh food left us with a nice feeling. Also, the owner came over to talk with us, apologized for the long wait and spent a few minutes chatting, which we really appreciated. We will definitely come back, just on a less busy day.

My parents recommended Montana’s to my fiancè and I for a new date spot. They also ate here recently to try something new and loved it. Our waitress was very friendly, attentive, and constantly checked on us despite being very busy. I got the chicken salad and my fiancé got the bacon cheeseburger. Best chicken salad I’ve ever had and my fiancé also loved his burger. The food was delicious and you also get a decent portion of food for a more than fair price. We will definitely be back!

We had an excellent dinner (as usual) with great service. Our food is always served hot with more than enough for one person. The chicken fried steak is our go-to order. We usually arrive early so we don’t have much of a wait although it is definitely worth the wait. Everyone is friendly and more than willing to help out. Our server Chelsey was friendly and kept apologizing for the wait but good food takes time.

Love this place. Bree is an awesome bartender—friendly, fast, and always on top of things even when it’s packed. Drinks are great, food is always solid, and prices are totally reasonable. One of our go-to spots.

The food was pretty basic in terms of taste. Especially for the price. The server was nice but they did give us a paper before eating saying the wait could be up to an hour (so be prepared for that). The atmosphere was ok. However…The bathroom was very small and had a very odd placement.

The food proportions are outrageous. The food was delicious. Our server was very nice attentive and efficient. I had the pork chops, shown. We took leftovers home and had dinner the next day. You get LOTS of food here. Husband had the Salisbury steak and coleslaw. He thought his was amazing.

Always a solid meal. Consistently one of the best Restaurants in Goose Creek.
Pictured is a Hamburger Steak Dinner with Mac & Cheese and Grilled Pork Chop Dinner with Mashed Potatoes. Both came with Side Salads as well, only one is pictured. All delicious.
Only critique is the Brown Gravy (not pictured) could be better as it tasted like powdered Brown Gravy mix.
Portions are slightly smaller than they used to be. But considering the prices only went up about $1 on everything as of May 2025, it’s still an overall great meal for the price.
Love the split setup where you can have a drink/meal in the bar or have a sit down meal.
Will always recommend and will continue to come here.

Its half a bar, a good one !and the rrst is dining with booths, and some extra table space when they open it.
Food is great, they make their own ranch!
The porkchops are really big, you get too massive deep fried or grilled and a couple of sides. Good food!

We had a party of nine and it was great service and excellent food. We had the bang bang shrimp and the appetizer sampler … all done perfect and both appetizers are big enough to be a meal by itself. We had the lobster/shrimp mac and cheese, grilled chicken, rib platter and hamburger steak — only one of us could finish the meal … plan for leftovers. The spicy margarettis have halepinos in them and do have some bite. See the pictures for each of the entrees and you will enjoy the meal. We ate on Friday night at 6 pm and had no issue getting seated and had two waiters take our orders. They say that orders can take up to 45 minutes to be prepared, but it was much quicker … even though they were busy. The fried orca is really good too. The restraurant has a nice bar area and they had a good selection of draft beers with ice cold mugs. The staff were all friendly and even though it is not a very fancy restaurant… it is some of the best food in the Charleston area. Trust this review.

Texas Roadhouse had an hour wait so I checked out montanas. They did not disappoint. Their ribeye was cooked perfectly, the fried okra was amazing and their green beans were delicious. My server was very kind and they are up front about how long the wait can be for food, but it’s well worth it. Highly recommend Montana’s.
