I had not originally planned go here because I was looking for another place that was not open. I discovered this through some searching and I was not disappointed. This place is a hidden gem of great New York Italian food. I highly recommend their signature lasagna, deep fried ravioli, and the chicken fettuccine with their signature sauce. Big portions too. I’m definitely going back several times and add it as a favorite.

The service was great. I ordered the shrimp carbonara. I also ordered the caesar salad. The wait time for my food was pretty quick. Natalie, my server made me feel welcome, but I had to ask for water to get a refill. Although the price was more on the expensive side. I like the portion sizes. It was enough.
The bathroom also smelled nice.

Sigh… Another eggplant grinder I could have lived without. Peppers. Actual eggplant grinders have roasted peppers. I don’t care what you say.

The fries were definitely meh. The eggplant was better than what I had before not still underwhelming.

The grinder was smoll…

Pizza was good but the crust was a little tough. The garlic knots where a big win especially with the cheese on top. Wings were served as requested crispy and extra sauce. The cheese Ravioli was great and enough to have left overs. All in all my family enjoyed their meals but I will say the food feel into an Americanized version of Italian cooking. That’s not a bad thing at all, everything had a very nice flavor. We did a phone order, the food was ready very fast and the staff was very nice when we picked up.

The host and the owner were incredibly welcoming. Awesome to have a neighborhood feel pizzeria with east coast roots inspired food. Order a calzone, Bella’s pizza pie, garlic knots and a meatball hero. Everything was tasty and reminded me of back home (New York) Thrilled to have this gem in our backyard. Garlic knots were so good. Haven’t had them since moving here. The calzone was delicious and well portioned. Will most certainly be back. Owner came out and introduced himself and we had a lovely chat. Reminds me of back home. Happy to support small businesses like this. Great food, solid sauce and even better people.
Don’t sleep on this place.

5/31/25: Short version – solid eatery. Food, service, & atmosphere were all good. Nothing really stood out that I would say “wow!” about. More people popped in for take out than for dine-in.

Long version – Bella is a cute little place with a pretty hefty menu. We arrived this particular Saturday for a late lunch; we were the only two dine-in customers so the sole server, Brayden, we had all to ourselves. He was exceptional: friendly & attentive.

Appetizer platter: fried, fried and more fried! 🙂 It had a nice variety of items (the fried ravioli mozzarella were my two favs). I will say the chicken strips seemed a bit tough & thin.

Garlic knots: delicious. Small bite-size knots w/ enough garlic to keep the vampires away. Ha! Just the way I like them.

Shrimp carbonara: the shrimp was huge & my sister enjoyed it.

Bella trio (choose 3 entrees): the eggplant parm w/ spaghetti needed another slice of eggplant & less spaghetti, and the cheese ravioli was a decent portion. For both of these, I will say the sauce was a bit of a let down, in that there did not seem to be a whole lot of flavor / spices to it. All I tasted was tomato. It definitely could use a bit more pizazz to it. The chicken picata was my fav of the 3. You could def taste the lemon. My only critique with it would be the white wine butter sauce was a bit runny.

Desserts: I know the lemon mascarpone cake is not made in-house (we saw the box), I’m not sure about the chocolate lasagna. Of the two, the cake was the best because it had the most flavor. The choc lasagna was an Oreo cookie crust, ice cream, & what tasted like normal choc pudding (nothing fancy about it).

The two or three other customers that came in for pick up were getting a pizza. Seeing that, if we back to Bella (it’s 35 miles away; yes! we drive all over the valley trying new restaurants every week), we will def have to try one of their pizzas next time; perhaps a calzone or hot sub.

Casual Mom and Pop local Italian restaurant. We do not live nearby but when we are we stop by Bella’s. We usually order garlic knots, salad with homemade Italian dressing and our son likes the spaghetti and meatballs. Tonight we tried the chocolate lasagna for dessert-super delicious-light and not too sweet. Looks like a great place for takeout too. Highly recommend to support this local restaurant.

Overall it was a really nice dining experience. Our waitress was really sweet and had a great sense of humor. I could tell she also loved the restaurant and the food. I got the impression she might have been an owner, but if she isn’t, you have an amazing employee who represents the restaurant. I ordered the stromboli and it was just the comfort food I needed. My dad had a small pizza, which was enough to feed two people. The price is incredible too. It’s as if I was going to a restaurant in the 90s! I’m so glad I found this gem. When you step inside it is like being in a small family business, which is what I like to support. I’ll be back!

Food was fantastic! Servers were a little much, music was off and I could hear one of them talking to herself and it was a little off-putting. Also wish the ambience was more reminiscent of an Italian restaurant and not just New York(?). Also can get quite warm in the actual restaurant. Otherwise, I will visit again for sure.

I’m a transplanted New Yorker. Love your pizza. Tonight i got a carryout order of baked Ziti. Delicious, although I did add a little crushed red pepper for my taste. The ricotta and mozzarella were fresh and tasty. Portion was large and enough for two meals for me. So happy i found your restaurant!!
