Was staying in Maysville for a work conference and this place was right next to the hotel. Stopped in for dinner and had to wait for a while to be seated even though the restaurant was not that busy. The place was dirty with the floors and the tables being covered with food, water from the condensation of the glasses, and other random bits of trash.

Ordered the chimichanga with beef and soon received the chips and salsa. Chips were very bland and not salted at all. Salsa was very sweet and say more like salsa ketchup. The chimichanga came with rice and beans but none of it seemed fresh or something that was actually made at the restaurant. The meat seemed like canned chili meat with the rice and beans also seemed from being from a prepared package of some kind. If you would have told me the food was microwaved then I would not doubt it at all. The chimichanga was not fried at all and was just oily and had no crisp to it.

The waitstaff was in no rush to clean the dirty restaurant and seemed like it was just a social gathering rather than a place of business.

Should have gone to Kroger and got a microwave meal.

It was one of the pretty-goodest restaurants of this type I’ve been to. There were things I really liked, there were things that could have been better. The kitchen wouldn’t let me substitute for a side they said they were out of, or rather told me what they’d sub for it, and then out came the thing they said they didn’t have ‍♂️. They have a smoking section right next to the non-smoking section, with a head-height divider between. So really, your choice is smoking section or second-hand smoking section. Most of the food was pretty tasty. Nothing I’m going to dream about, but I’m also not sorry for choosing here. Give it a try if you’re in the area, because there was some good food, but measure your expectations for the overall experience.

Great food and service in an old steakhouse style restaurant. They serve a Tex Mex menu and use wood smoke. The interior is a bit run down but the food and service is great. This is one of the few Tumbleweed restaurants left in KY.

I was thinking I would have the pineapple steak people raved about but once I had the menu in front of me the ribs called my name. Perfect fall of the bone quality and the Honey Chipotle BBQ sauce was sweet with an edge. I picked the side salad and loaded baked potato for my two sides. It was so good and I left with a box to have the rest of the ribs later (I got the full slab).

I should mention that the margarita was great too. I ordered the Wild Berry Swirl. Just a dollar off on happy hour but it was great. I think the well margaritas were just $3.50 for happy hour and there is an option to add a flavor for an upcharge.

Just wanted to say me and my boyfriend have come in here and have had 4 wonderful servers and all have been different each time, today our server was MacKenzie and she was nothing but precise and friendly/professional while running back and forth. Thank you tumbleweed for holding up your name!!

Cool little spot. Amazing staff from top to bottom, and it’s clearly managed well based on how happy their staff are. The food is great, and the liquor selection is huge. Draft beer, not many options

Food was good, service was great. The special house margarita was awesome. The sweet tea is also great. If they got rid of the smoking in the restaurant it would be a 5 star.

Was there less than an hour after opening and the restroom looked like it had not been tended too in quite a while. The sweet tea was good. The steak did not seem to be a real steak. No grain and an off putting grey color like meat thats been glued back together. Chicken strip dinner had enough chili sauce on it to hide whatever was wrong with it. Made my son ill before we even left. The pork sandwich had been fried to death dry as an old bone. The salsa tastes like condensed tomato soup with some tomato chunks thrown in (weird)Overall a terrible experience for the money. Dont waste your time.
