The biggest problem with Buon Appetito is that it took us 10 years to finally get here. All those times we said “maybe next weekend” turned out to be missed opportunities to dine at what is easily the best Italian restaurant north of Detroit.
From the moment we walked in, the restaurant impressed us. It’s a quaint, intimate space that overflows with charm and ambience. Honestly, it felt like we stepped into a small family restaurant somewhere along the Amalfi Coast of Italy.
Warm, inviting, and authentic.
We started with appetizers, hot banana peppers with sausage for me and arancini for my wife. Both were absolutely outstanding and easily the best versions we’ve had in a long time. You could tell immediately that everything was made with care and quality ingredients.
For the main course, my wife ordered the Chicken Cremosi and I had the Chicken Marsala.
The Cremosi was beyond phenomenal. The lemon cream sauce was rich, balanced, and incredibly flavorful, honestly delicious enough to pair with almost anything, but perfect with a chilled glass of pinot grigio.
As for the Marsala… where do I start?
Let me put it simply, I can’t. It was just that good. Perfectly cooked, deeply flavorful, and exactly what Chicken Marsala should be.
Beyond the impeccable food, the service was exceptional. The staff was attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming.
Then there are the owners, Vito and Jeanette. We had the pleasure of meeting them, and they truly set this place apart. They made their way around the restaurant speaking with guests and checking on each table. Not a moment went by where they didn’t make sure everything was perfect, something you rarely see anymore.
I could list a hundred more reasons why this restaurant exceeded our expectations, and why we regret not coming sooner.
If I could give 10 stars, it would deserve 11.

Absolute 10 out of 10. Amazing freshly prepared food and top notch service. Staff was very attentive especially our server Paul. Was nice that the owners worked the room greeting and checking on all of their guests, a great personal touch. The live singer was awesome, not overbearing and added a great ambiance. We will deffinitely be back and bring friends/family next time.

Your potato sides are very good, but the presentation could be so much more than, 4-5 wedges plopped on a plate.
Also we are thankful for the complete meal proving a side of pasta.
But that’s all it is, is a side of pasta.
Room to grow, improve on both.
No worries
We will return and bring more friends.

We dined with friends Tuesday at Buon Appetito and enjoyed a wonderful evening. The food was delicious, our server, Christi was friendly and attentive, and the owner visited our table before and after our meal. He is clearly passionate about his restaurant and his food! He recommended the Chicken Mama Assunta which I ordered and it did not disappoint! Our meal was topped off with free cannolis which were over-the-top! The restaurant quieted down after 7 which made it easier to have conversation. We will visit again!

This was our first time coming here, we were recommended by friends and I must say it was such a cute authentic Italian restaurant! We tried the calamari , the fettuccine Alfredo, and seafood risotto which were all so good. Our server Christi was very attentive and super friendly! We for sure will be back to try the other delicious looking dishes we saw

Drove 20 minutes north to check out this restaurant that my girlfriend went to about six or seven years ago
This beautiful restaurant has been fully remodeled and is very elegant
A waitress was very knowledgeable about the menu and answered any questions that we had
We did a little substituting here and there and they accommodated us with no issues
The food was excellent
Soup was pretty good but I feel like it lacked some salt in the minestrone she offered
To replace the soups with Salads instead
I would definitely return and recommend this restaurant to family and friends
