It has so many good review, so I will list down what we have experience just to be legit.
1. We heard its very good so we called prior to book a table. We arrived and have to wait for a while until we have to approach the service. We were then lead to the outside table(which was fine) to an unclean table. Some people use it before. There were crumbs on the table and the cuttlery were not refilled. As the food arrive I have to walk in to ask for new cuttlery.
2. The food: we order steak medium well and get a well. It was okay overall. The salom pasta come with 3 pieces of Salmon about one iches each. The best tatsting food was the appetizer, which is baby calamari. Overall the ingredients quality (meat, calamari & salmon) were just okay.
3. The service: well no one was ever there. At the end we get the wrong wine (they put soda water in) and we wait to ask for changes but no one literally was ever there at our table except the moment they bring food out. So we have to go in and leave
The bill over is normal price for eating for two, about 85. But if you are looking to take your partner somewhere nice with smooth service for a great date may be try to consider other place in Kiel too.

The food here is fantastic. As a Chilean, whenever I miss the flavors of home, this is the place I come to. The seasoning and quality are spot on. The service is outstanding, the ambiance is warm and welcoming, and the food is absolutely delicious. They even start you off with a great appetizer of fresh bread and tasty sauces. If you’re in the mood for a perfectly cooked, flavorful piece of meat, this place is a must. Highly recommended – 100% worth it!

This cozy restaurant has left the best impressions! Hospitable hosts, delicious dishes, wide wine and cocktail list and wonderful dessert. I’ve been eating here everyday since I’ve came in Kiel.

Whenever I’m in Kiel, Fuego del Sur is one of my go-to places. The atmosphere is warm and lively, and the food is simply outstanding. Every meal I’ve had there has been full of flavor, especially the steaks — perfectly cooked and full of that authentic South American touch. The service is always friendly and welcoming, which just makes the whole experience even better. If you’re in Kiel and looking for a place to enjoy great food and a great vibe, I highly recommend Fuego del Sur. It’s one of those places that leaves you looking forward to your next visit.
