Staff was helpful. Chicken sandwich was great. Party wings (lemon pepper) not so great, kinda greasy and the actual chicken had a funny taste. Chips were a little salty. Loaded fries were good.

We walked in on a Saturday evening around 630 and sat ourselves right away. The atmosphere was awesome. Artwork by a (probably) local artist was a topic of conversation. There was a guy playing acoustic guitar and that was nice for ambiance. Food was delicious and served in nice time. We had loaded fries, Smothered chicken, and chicken fajita salad. Our server was attentive, but not annoying. This place is close to home, so we will definitely be back!!

We used to enjoy this restaurant and went today for the country fried steak. You’ll see pics of it in reviews as a favorite dish. Well there is a new menu and despite the fact that it says if you don’t see it, ask about your old favorite. We asked. Nope. First strike. No dinner plates were listed at all. Two of our party got burgers which were just OK. Thumbs down on the onion rings and batter dipped fries. I was adventurous and tried the chicken stuffed biscuits. Well is was a singular large biscuit. And I have a different idea of “stuffed”. It was a large chicken biscuit. The bacon must have been the hard burt things at the bottom. McDonald’s has better biscuits. It did not taste fresh. I think adding cheese, bacon and gravy to a McDonald’s biscuit would have achieved a better dish. There were fried jalapenos but since the breading was coming off they were just jalapenos. I really don’t know why these are on everything right now. Food came hot from the kitchen and service was good. So there are the two stars. It’s no longer a place to eat. Just treat it as a bar to drink and have wings. Hopefully those are good.

A little short staffed this Saturday night, but taking that into consideration we stayed to try the food and beer. The wings were good, the burger was great! Kids meals were great for the price. And the beer was spot on, I’ll try the brewery next time in Goose but would still rate at 5* due to service, quality, and atmosphere.

We came in with our daughter and niece for lunch. We were excited because our daughter and niece like beer so I couldn’t wait for them to try some new beer. We bought the same appetizers we’ve bought the past few times we’ve come in for our “date” times. We get fried mushrooms, fried pickles, chicken fingers with onion rings instead of fries and loaded fries. We also bought potato boats today. When our food arrived we were puzzled bc the serving size was smaller than we’ve ever received before and the product itself even seemed smaller. We made sure to ask if our fried mushrooms were a half a serving instead of a full but after checking with the kitchen we were told it was a full serving. We were also told each one is portioned out so it shouldn’t be different from what we normally get. When our wires came by to check on us we mentioned the size to her as well and even she said she’d check because that wasn’t a normal serving. She came back with the same answer we were already given. We were certainly disappointed. Something seemed different in the taste/quality as well but we chalked it up to maybe it was just our overall disappointment in the difference experience from all other times. As for the beer, our daughter and niece bought a flight of beer and sadly didn’t really care for any of the ones they chose but I think that’s always the chance you take when trying different types of beer from what you normally drink so I don’t feel we could give an honest review of the beer. Our waitress was always as kind and helpful as any other time she’s helped us. Other staff members we interacted with were nice as well. The atmosphere was also just as laid back and friendly as were used to. The biggest difference was portion size and possibly quality of the items we ordered. We may come back another time or two just to see if things change but we won’t blindly order all the items we normally do. We’ll probably just order one appetizer to start. If we go back, I’ll update this review again.

Our server was reasonably attentive. Some of the lettuce in my salad was as big as my face which I found a bit off putting. The portions on the chicken were generous. The plastic utensils provided AFTER we ate the steak bites with our hands were a bit of a challenge for cutting up the oversized elements of our meal. Not an overwhelmingly positive experience. As an infrequent visitor to these types of establishments I probably won’t be missed, so no great loss to them or me.

It was solid. The veggies were a bit overwhelming and not enough cheese. But the steak was exceptionally seasoned bringing the sandwich together. The mini corn dogs are a hit and a great snack! The loaded fries were also tasty, I recommend ordering an extra side of ranch. Looking forward to trying more of the menu options!

We were in West Ashley and chose Stones Throw Tavern. The waitress was very friendly and accommodating. The food was ready quickly, it was a little before the busy dinner rush. It was delicious as always. If you’ve never tried their BLT, do it! So yummy.

My daughter and I were having a mother/daughter afternoon and wanted to have lunch somewhere different. I chose this restaurant. It had an awesome sports bar look and feel. I’m a sports fan but not a bar person. If I were a sports bar person this restaurant would be on my favorites. The bartender gave us a warm and said be seated. The environment was cozy, clean and a little chilly from the ceiling fans and outdoor breeze. Our hostess was outstanding. Yes, she was tipped very nicely. The food was delicious. Although, I’m not a sports bar fan I would still visit again just for the customer service.

Definitely a place that I wouldn’t normally have tried but glad I stopped in. The server was excellent 10/10 wish I could remember her name, our glasses were never empty and she was nice enough to sign us up for the rewards program. I loved the cheese fries it does have buffalo sauce which I had never had that on fries before but man it was pretty great. Burger was cooked to a perfect medium and the salad was with spring mix instead of iceberg so that was a nice surprise. The only bad was the Mac n cheese my girlfriend and I shared fell a little flat for us.
