Big clean bright modern restaurant inside. Order at the counter, fetch your own drink and tableware. An assortment of BBQ sauce is available. Pump what you want in a little cup to take back to the table. Your food is delivered to your table.
I had a turkey sandwich. Good smokey moist turkey. Slaw and beans on the side. Beans fair. Slaw was a pass. If you want jalapeno and onion, be sure to mention it at the counter when you order. My wife had the Fort Chaffee Salad. A fruity salad with candied pecans. She added the same smoked turkey. Over all a 4-star experience.
Nice place, decent BBQ, but doesn’t have that down home country BBQ joint feel.
I went in for a late bite of dinner as I wanted a quick bite but nothing too heavy. I ordered a lean brisket sandwich. The staff member sliced it right in front of me.
I found a variety of sauces available. Some BBQ places are stingy with their sauce – not here. There were small serving cups to use. I took a sample of each flavor. I filled my drink and found a table.
The brisket was visually appetizing. There was a nice smoke ring, as those that cook it tell me is important. The meat was moist and tasty. I enjoyed all three variety of BBQ sauces.
While I only had the brisket sandwich, I will certainly look forward to another trip back to this restaurant for additional menu items!
I think all the meat is $35.00 a pound hopefully they can stay in business
Got pork, sausage, baked potato, and mac n cheese. The seasoning on the pork was great. The sausage was decent. Not my favorite, but not the worst. Baked potato and mac were just ok. You can probably tell from the photo, nothing special.
My gripe is the price. What is pictured, plus a drink, was 27ish dollars. For 1 person. I was ok, but definitely not that good.
