The McDonald’s at Hampton and Chippewa located in the Hampton Village shopping center is one of worst fast food service places in this area. No matter what time of the day you go. Its one of worst food places to get food. You either waiting for long period of times or they will cancel your order or orders base on their time when changing the menu. Door dashing at this South City location is terrible. Half of the time you have to wait 35 mins for your order. Sometimes if you go thru the drive thru, the employees will not respond. The people who work at this location is very disrespectful and rude. Never again I will spend my hard earned money or Door Dash at this McDonald’s. I wish I can rate 0.

Customer service so garbage I had to get the corporate number and tell them too. I pulled up to the main lane, sat there for a few minutes with no greeting. I started asking if anyone was there and still no response. I pull around assuming the drive thru is messed up. First window no one, go to second window. A manager(Debbie) is there and I explain no one answered to take my order. She told me that the employee was in the bathroom and couldn’t take my order. She said she also couldn’t take my
Order because “there was someone behind me whose food was ready.” Rude, no apology, no offer to fix it. Since I used to work at a McDonald’s, I know a location staffed with competent people wouldn’t leave a drive thru lane unmanned for five plus minutes. Just hand the headset to someone else before you go sit in the bathroom. And a competent manager would apologize, take the order, and have me pull forward to wait for my food. Not be rude and act like I’m the unreasonable one for pulling forward after no one answered for five minutes.

Place an order online just to sit in line to waiting a long period with someone to have an attitude. Crazy! Manager, dist manger, and owner need to step in.. I spent to much money for this. I wish I could cancel my order. Never again!

Just like all of the fast food places in the city, they are extremely slow and lazy. The drive thru crawls at a snails pace, even when they don’t seem to be busy. The workers have no sense or urgency. Half of the time, the inside is closed to where you can’t even go in to escape the terribly slow drive thru. Reminds me of why I don’t get fast food anymore. Just strange how you head out to the county, or even the country for that matter, and the places run like a well oiled machine.

This is literally the worst McDonald’s I’ve ever experienced. More often than not, I pull up with no one in the drive through and am asked to wait for an endless amount of time while something (or nothing) goes on in the restaurant. They aren’t helping the person in the other line. They just aren’t working drive though. And then! After waiting 10-15 minutes with no one ahead of me, I get the wrong order. How is that even possible? Ugh, I need to just drive further to a different McDonald’s.

Stopped in for a mcflurry. Waited for 15 minutes in the drive thru. They gave me ice cream with some cookie crumbs sprinkled on top. NOTHING was mixed into it. Lazy incompetence runs rampant here. Don’t waste your time or money.

Worst customer service of any McDonald’s I’ve been to in years. These employees Don’t seem to have any training whatsoever to prepare them for this type of work. Poor customer interactions…. Inaccurate food orders… And now under cooked meat (see picture). If I could give zero stars I would. The food doesn’t even look like it was properly assembled. I’ve gotten some of the best double quarter pounders from a McDonald’s located in the state of Oklahoma. I don’t know why that is… Maybe McDonald’s can figure it out.

I was going to call and complain but after reading other reviews I realize that’s probably pointless because management seems to not respond. Leaving this review is probably a waste of my time but I still feel like I need to do it. Thank goodness there are many other food choices within a quarter mile of this Hampton and Chippewa location. Get a clue McDonald’s! I’m very disappointed… Your reputation in Missouri has become a joke.

Please my photos and you will know why this place has a 2.5 rating but at least they remade our food. The burgers are suppose to be fresh how do you mess this up, I expected different from this place because it seems really clean inside now I know why because no one wants to eat here

I’ll take this down as my experience isn’t one star. Yet i am trying to get franchise & corporates attention that staff here past couple years will turn off parking lot & drive thru lights while still open. I can only assume it is to reduce customers they need to serve
