Don’t order a side of their homemade onion rings unless you have 4+ people you’re feeding. With this side you could make an entire meal out of that alone.
If you plan on dining in, brace yourself, you going to go back a couple of decades in history as far as ambiance… but who really cares about that except for the “snobs”
Again good food, reasonably priced and friendly employees…
It seems like a small diner from the outside. There are approximately 25-30 booths and tables. The waitstaff was continously cleaning during my visit.
My lunch today (pictured) was a Flint Coney and an order of Homemade Onion Rings with a glass of ice water.

My waitress warned me that the onion rings were a large order. She didn’t lie. It was a a large order of the best onion rings ever.
I mean the order of O-rings at John’s is the world standard and what a person dreams about when they think of giant fresh homemade onion rings.
The coney was good sporting a line of mustard and generously topped with diced onion.
My glass was never empty.
My waitress was personable, friendly and knew the menu well.
The manager was on site amd very friendly to speak to as well.
I would absolutely recommend stopping for a meal here at John’s.
I only give 4/5 stars because I reserve 5 stars for a really fancy quality dining experience.
However, I have faith that John’s will not disappoint you.
Bon Appétit!

Edited in response @ owner, I will gladly take my business elsewhere as however cheap you advertise your undercooked food and dry salted meat, my money is worth more unspent. You have shown time again that the pride in your business supercedes representing honor and grace within our community by denying the opportunity to humbly rectify your wrongs. Update your menu availability and boost the morale as well as competence of your employees. It is a shame to look down upon a classic American coney island turning into hotdog water in which mirrors the state of our country.
