I come to this Denny’s pretty often, and they never let me down. This time I ordered the Bourbon Chicken Skillet, and it was perfect. The chicken was juicy with a tasty glaze, and the veggies and potatoes underneath made it a hearty, flavorful meal. It’s one of my favorites here and always hits the spot.
The service is another reason I keep coming back. The staff is always friendly and quick, and they make sure everything’s just right no matter how busy it is.
Overall, this location has earned my loyalty. Great food, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere every time. Highly recommend the Bourbon Chicken Skillet!

Grew up on the west coast but live in Tennessee and never get to go to Denny’s. Mitchell was our server in Gallup, AZ on a road trip and he did a fantastic job! The service and food was actually amazing.

We just ate here and it was honestly pretty unacceptable. Our waitress was immediately off putting when we walked through the door, barely even acknowledging us. She also continued to be rather dismissive and rude through our entire meal. When I tried ordering a smoothie on top of my breakfast, she kept talking over me and ignored me, so I left it. When we actually got our food, my brother picked off TWO hairs from his meal (which was overcooked and very hard). And then it was only after I almost finished eating that I noticed the edge of my plate was COMPLETELY chipped. (See the photos) Then, when it was time to pay and we asked for a to go box, our waitress brought the to go box and literally leaned over the back of the booth to just drop it down in front of us. Very bland and unhygienic food, terrible service.

Today’s food Preparation. Real great food made by a wonderful staff. Lisa is amazing. The Berry Waffle is delicious! The blueberries were sweet and the caramel. Yummy!!! The Crepes were sweet and the filling was delicious. The strawberries were super fresh! This is a must try anytime you’re here. The coffee was hot and great. They have french vanilla creamer!! Yummy. The hash browns are so fluffy. Eggs and Bacon were freshly made and came out hot. Food were served within 10 minutes.

December 2023, dinner. The place was empty, thought…oh no. BUT had the best steak, mashed potatoes and veggies ever! Tipped the cook! We were staying at La Quinta. Lovely young lady served us. Had Christmas decorations on her nails.

We walked in for breakfast on 9/25 to find only one waitress and one cook. There were 5 other tables already seated.
LISA promptly greeted and seated us. When my spouse asked if she was the only server, she diplomatically explained where the other two were. She was very upbeat, graceful and efficient. Our food was standard Denny’s -tasty and prepared as ordered. We were just passing through but would definitely go back if we were local.

This is a painful review… but it is truthful.
I knew they were having problems when the manager had to stop working in the kitchen to show me to my seat.
The restaurant was not that busy but they were struggling to keep up with the orders. The waitresses were all standing around the computer and I could hear them talking to the cook, and the manager working in the kitchen. I kept hearing this customer and that customer had been waiting a long time as they hovered around the computer screen.
My burger was delicious and the manager was so busy being a cook… nobody was managing the business. Waiting a long time is one thing but my waitress simply vanished. My drink sat empty for what seemed like forever. Tick Tock Tick Tock….
So is the manager to blame because he was busting his butt?…. but my waitress virtually ignored me while all the other waitresses were hustling. The other waitresses kept looking at me, but I was not at their table. My server did not have a name tag, she was nice… but horrible at her job.
Was it the staffing? Did a cook not show up? I do not know the answer but as a person paying… I do not care.
I like Dennys and will continue to eat at other locations… but this experience was subpar.

Prefer this location than to north of Gallup. Dining room has more space. Food is great. Wait staff is always friendly & never forgot about us. They kept up our refills coming! Limited Wait staff today (only 2 this morning) BUT they helped out each other. Thank you for servicing us at your restaurant ❤️. Enjoy it every time we come.

We stopped here to eat before going to our hotel here. The parking lot offers plenty of places to park and right off I40. We were greeted and sat quickly. They took our drink order and brought them out not too long after, plenty of time to decide what we wanted. Our server made sure our order was correct and checked on us regularly. Next time we pass through Gallup we will for sure be back. Our server I believe was Jacob and they did a great job.

Okay it’s 9AM and the staff here were definitely morning people. Active, attentive and happy. Lisa was my server. But all of them treated me with a level of welcoming and cheer that you don’t find in bigger Denny’s locations. This felt like a home restaurant. They have regulars and worked like a family instead of a team. That was the best feeling. Food was great. Bacon and eggs with coffee. I’m ready to head out with good vibes which was an added bonus to the meal.
