From out of town and decided to try this place. Lunch special Beef Lo Mein was phenomenal! The egg drop soup was on point and the staff were extremely friendly. Will be back.

Worst general tso’s I have ever had. There was no meat to the chicken, it was basically over cooked skin. Boyfriend got chicken moo shu, and there was barely any chicken. Hadn’t even gotten our food before the server was trying to sell discounted to go food that people didn’t pick up because “the highway was closed.” Decided to get the broccoli beef for lunch tomorrow. Tried it when we got home out of curiosity, and it was not good. Dry, salty beef that the decently cooked broccoli couldn’t make up for. Definitely not worth $67. Will not go back. (Also prices on menu, do not reflect prices on your bill.)

Super friendly, fast service. Reasonable. Tasty food. Nice lunch atmosphere with traditional Asian music in the background. Not too many other patrons. Lunch combination served with egg drip soup! Egg rolls perfectly crunchy and fried. Yum! Highly recommended!

I am absolutely disgusted. I ordered soup from this restaurant for my girlfriend, and while she was eating, she found a larva (maggot) in the bowl. I have attached photos for proof.
Not only is this a major health code violation, but it completely ruined her appetite and made her feel sick just knowing she had already eaten some of it before noticing. We had to throw everything away immediately.
This is unacceptable for any restaurant — it shows either a complete lack of kitchen cleanliness or that the food is not being inspected before serving. I would strongly urge others to think twice before eating here, and I will be contacting the health department so this doesn’t happen to someone else.
Serving contaminated food is not just “a mistake” — it’s dangerous.

I’m not one to write reviews so it must be really bad if I do. I come to this restaurant all the time and usually it’s good, but not today. It was not good, I mean not even close. I ordered my go to sweet and sour pork with rice, the pork was old and flavorless. The rice sucked! I took a friend from work and I was so embarrassed! She kept telling me about other Chinese restaurants that were better, it was her way of telling me her food was disappointing. I took my Deputy Director food back and again I was embarrassed because she didn’t even finish an egg roll. Also to top it off my bill was $80 bucks!! We didn’t even finish our food! Hell even the ice tea was gross! Needless to say I am done and I will never go back nor recommend. I even asked if there were new cooks or if they sold the place because it was horrible. Sad part is now my stomach is bubbling! Don’t eat here I warned you. Chen’s is not the business! I said what I said!

I went here because it was recommended by people on Google. It has a spartan look. I’ve been waiting for several weeks. I ended up getting the Combination Pan Fried Noodles. The dish didn’t look good, but tasted wonderfully delicious. I also got the egg rolls which were ok. Personally, this place is one of the most authentic Cantonese Chinese Restaurants in the City of ABQ. However, the neighborhood has seen better days. The waitress was good at suggestion selling so I got the egg drop soup, egg rolls. This restaurant is your stereotypical hole in the wall restaurant. The decor is chinese and this place has the cleanest restrooms in ABQ. I loved the food so much that I ordered a Beef Chow Fun to take home. The restaurant is pretty well know. I only wish it were closer to downtown. This place would be one of the hip places in ABQ.

The food was tasty. It was good food. Egg rolls were delicious. Only reason this isn’t getting 5 stars. Price is high for what it is. The waiter was kinda sloppy. He took everyone’s drinks and left before asking me what I’d like and my meal took longer to receive than it should’ve.

My dad has brought me here since I was very little. Their food has always been the best, with us little boys preferring this as our birthday restaurant over anywhere else. I always recommend this place to everyone! We’ve know the owners forever and they are super polite and wonderful. If you dont know what to get, the Chow Fun and Fried Rice (all with chicken) our favorite.

I’ve been here three times now the food is delicious or as I would say dank. Friendly faces always and great service. I got the Mixed Meat Fried Rice “added hot spice” this time with the Jalapeño Chicken and an Egg Roll. The portions are grand and I’m sure I will have leftovers for work lunch tomorrow. I ordered online and was able to use Google pay so that was really convenient it was ready in about 15 minutes. I will definitely return again it’s my neighborhood spot for excellent Chinese food. Tastes so good.
