So my wife and I enjoyed this place very much, the food was some of the most flavorful and satisfying Italian food I have had in a while. For the most part we really enjoyed the whole dining experience, 2 things I found that could be improved. One, if you serve fried calimari it is very important that the batter or breading you fry is crispy and not soaked in grease without any crispness. Two, yes the pork chop is delicious with butter & herbs but not to the point where the noodle and pork chop are practically floating in all the melted butter. We will definitely be going back to try more dishes because the food was very good and hopefully the owner will take this review into consideration to possibly change the items I’ve spoken about.

Twisted Pasta – Near Happy Valley, AZ

We decided to try Twisted Pasta for my birthday dinner, and while the food was absolutely worth the wait, there were a few bumps along the way. Our wait time was around 35–40 minutes before being seated, which we understood since the restaurant was clearly busy and full of energy. However, once seated, our server forgot about our appetizer — a small but noticeable inconvenience considering how long we’d already been waiting.

When our meals arrived, though, the quality of the food made up for much of the delay. The chicken piccata was absolutely delicious — perfectly cooked, tangy, and buttery in all the right ways. Every bite reminded us why Twisted Pasta has such a good reputation. The staff, despite the crowd, remained friendly and upbeat, and the restaurant itself was clean and well-kept. It did get pretty loud as the night went on, but that seemed more like a sign of how popular the place is.

One small disappointment: it was my birthday, and although it was mentioned, our server never acknowledged it with a simple “happy birthday.” Not a dealbreaker — but those little touches can make a big difference.

Still, I’d happily return for the food alone.

And as I sat finishing my pasta, I imagined a little story about Princess Linguine, who wandered through the kingdom of Twisted Pasta in search of her lost horse, Alfredo. She searched high and low, through forests of fettuccine and valleys of marinara, until she found him resting near a bubbling stream of lemon butter sauce. With a happy heart and a full belly, Princess Linguine rode home — and swore she’d always return to Twisted Pasta whenever she hungered for adventure… and a really good chicken piccata.

Lovely “hole in the wall” Italian restaurant. Was seated promptly. Our server, Krista, was kind and kept on top of our drink refills. Actually brought my in-laws back a few days later! Food was yummy, and portions were on the larger side. Will definitely go back!!

Excellent meal – food was delicious and service was great. Pat was fabulous, helpful, and friendly!
We had the Fried Ravioli, a Twisted Ribeye, cooked perfectly and so tender, a Veggie Lasagna, and an Angus Lasagna. Oh, and chocolate cake for dessert

Facility somewhat on the small side, but with very nice interior. Attractive and comfortable.
Staff friendly and very cordial. Many half booths with high and low tables. No guest WiFi. Bathrooms, very large and HC accessible. Overall, rated it 3stars – average. Personally wasn’t sure the value was there. Probably for us, a one & done experience. Basically just alot of competition out there and we would probably spend our money elsewhere. Menu photos as of Oct 2025.

Very good food! The freshly baked bread is soft and tender; perfect with the olive oil and herbs.
I think the bread was great, but what could make it even better, would be a more fruity and rich EVOO.
the Mediterranean pasta, was perfect. The sauce was seasoned beautifully and the garlic slices were just right!

So good y’all!

All I can say is wow, the service and food were great! I ordered the Cayenne shrimp appetizer, along with the bacon shrimp lasagna for the entrée. I highly recommend ordering these, I also ordered my son just a meatball side and I had to try it and it was delicious as well! We will definitely be back again to explore the menu and try new things, thanks again!

Twisted Italian has become my absolute go to for Italian food in North Peoria, and it never disappoints. The fish dishes are consistently excellent, always fresh, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor. You can really tell they pay attention to quality and preparation. The pasta is just as impressive with rich sauces, great portions, and that comforting homemade taste you want from a great Italian restaurant.

What really sets Twisted Italian apart is the consistency. Every time I come in, the food is just as good as the last visit, which is hard to find these days. The atmosphere is welcoming and relaxed, making it a great spot whether you are grabbing a casual dinner or bringing friends and family. If you are looking for a reliable, delicious Italian restaurant in North Peoria, Twisted Italian is the place I recommend every time.

Very good restaurant. Really enjoyed my visit. Spicy chicken sandwich was great . Had a smooth heat but not too much. Chicken Parmesan was full of zesty garlic. Highly recommend going.

Our family of 5 loved the Twisted Italian. The food was nothing short of amazing—The portion sizes were generous, leaving us completely satisfied without feeling overwhelmed and we had some leftovers. The staff truly made the evening special; they were attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time. From the warm atmosphere to the incredible cuisine, Twisted Italian is a must-visit gem. Highly recommend!

Was not crowded at 4 p.m. on a Saturday.
