Came by after lunch rush which a perfect for a quiet late lunch. Greeted upon arrival and seated where we preferred. I got a house margarita and both of us got water. I had the beef enchiladas with guacamole. Husband got beef fajita quesadilla. We both enjoyed our meals. Margarita was good and just enough alcohol for lunch. Service was quick and courteous. I would come back and recommend this establishment.

The enchiladas are really good. I thought the tamale was just okay but I think it was because of all the chili sauce. Everything else was really good. The staff there was very friendly and atmosphere was a chill place. Go check it out.

We tried this place one evening for dinner with some friends. We were greeted right away and seated, Emily our server came and got our drink orders and we ordered an appetizer Bob Armstrong Dip which was so delicious. They bring you chips and salsa while you wait. I ordered the Tex-Mex Burrito and my partner ordered the Cowboy Country Fried Steak. Both were so delicious and full of flavor. Emily was an outstanding server, very knowledgeable of the menu. The restaurant was very clean as were the restrooms. We cannot wait to return.

I used to go to the location in Dallas when it was open and thought I would try this one.
I ordered the beef enchiladas for myself. My wife had already ate.
Chips and salsa came out 1st as usual but the salsa had what can only be described as a twangy flavor and wasn’t at all spicy.
When the food came the waitress thought I had two orders instead of one.
I explained that it was only the single order.

The enchiladas also had kind of a twangy flavor to them and the ground beef was more brisket flavored than Telmex.
The cheese was barely melted and the rice was pretty flavorless.

I ate one of the two enchiladas and couldn’t do anymore. Overall the food was subpar at best.

Every time I drive by here it is usually really busy. From today’s experience I am not sure why.

My favorite draws for this place is the awesome queso dip and the house made salsa. Fajitas are nothing special but they are good. As a matter of fact almost everything here is good. Never thought I would like a chicken fried steak from a Tex Mex restaurant, but the chicken fried steak here is worth a try, as it is better than most places. Atmosphere is fine, but there is always a little bit of a funky smell when you first walk in but I usually don’t notice it anymore after a few minutes inside. I believe the funky smell is likely due to the restaurant having to rely on a septic system, since it kind of the middle of nowhere, but I’m not 100% sure. Either way the food and service keeps us coming back frequently.

Hi Matt’s. Me and my family went to enjoy a nice dinner tonight to celebrate the beginning of fall break for my kids. It is not often we get to do things as a family considering we all are extremely busy with work, and school events.

Our server Cade was excellent, he was friendly and polite, and always kept our drinks filled. Some might say extremely attentive.

While enjoying our food however, my wife and I overheard 2 of the matt’s employees complaining about the short, heavyset, manly built servers tips for the night. I believe her name was Tina? The other one was giving everyone dirty looks the entire night and obviously thought she was better than everyone else. I’m not sure what her name was. She did have a bun in her hair if that helps identify her.

Though I did enjoy my server and our food, I really wish y’all would consider hiring people with more awareness and appreciation. Matt’s you may want to look into your employees, because many families just want to enjoy a nice outing, without the hassle of people who act like teenagers. Thank you
