Been visiting since Luccas opened. Servers are great! Food just as good. Pizza best, when cooked one(1) extra minute. When I order to: Brenda get’s all the food details just right. “I am that one customer” and at the end of a long day Lucca’s hits the spot. Jill is always a friendly face. All server’s are so polite and know my family and I by name. But my man Mike always pleasant, fast (thats the main thing he get’s food out now)

Food was not bad. Service was awful. We ordered a bottle of bubbles that took forever to get to table. Don’t explain to me that wine is stored in cellar and is chilled when ordered, I know, it takes a 15 minute ice bath to get to serving temp, it took just shy 30 mins to get to the table. Was asked halfway thru dinner to move tables. My date was very annoyed. The gentleman we sat next to was annoyed for us as well wondering how we didn’t just walk out. Our server asked what happened? Which means the host did not even tell the server her table was being moved, great communication, causes awkward tension. I Joke and said oh they told us to move and they were going to give us gelato. We did order gelato, and we were given 1 bowl with 2 scoops instead of separate bowls. At this point too upset to even bother asking for separate bowls. Get the check and gelato is on there, it is not fully comped. Mind you I told the server who asked why the bubbles that I was celebrating getting a consultant role at a public firm . I am an accountant. The noncash surcharge hit the gelato line item amount as it is in the subtotal. I do not care about 3.5% on $7, I cared that someone had the audacity to look me dead in the face when I said this shouldn’t even be on the ticket – server cuts me off before I can finish my point that it is not actually fully comped since an upcharge is on it – and she barks it is comped. Gave the server my card and said whatever. But 4.77/130.90=3.64% so why is your CC surcharge listed as 3.5%? Show the server this if they wonder why I tipped poorly. I wanted to tip nothing but I use to be a bartender/server and can’t tip $0 no matter how bad things went…. The food is not good enough to make up for the service.

Decided to visit more local restaurants. There are so many great eateries in the surrounding communities that often get overlooked. Went on a Sunday evening. Busy, but no wait. Reservations are preferred. The restaurant is quite quaint. Rustic feel, which was nice. There were a few families so it is family friendly.
Our waiter, cant remember his name was very personable and knowledgeable about the menu and made a few recommendations. We ordered the chicken piccata, penne pasta with chicken and for the appetizer stuffed mushrooms. The stuffed mushrooms take a little to prepare, so order them immediately. They were worth the wait and delicious.
The portions for our entrees was robust. We had plenty to take home. Chicken picccata was just a tad salty, but still quite flavorful. The baked penne was even better the 2nd day. Loaded with riccota, parmesan cheesed and baked just right. For dessert, we shared a tiramisu which was very good. Will definitely come back to try the pizza and salads. It seemed to be the selection of choice for those dining around us.

Seating is tight. Tables are very close together. Probably could eliminate a table up front to allow for a littlw more walk space between tables.
Conversation volume is high which made it tough to talk sometimes.

I visited here for the first time with friends who suggested it to us. We were impressed by the food and wide ranging menu but the absolute star of the show was the waitstaff. Besides the very attentive bus team we were served by Sarah our waitress. Cannot say enough about. Friendly, helpful and informative our whole table had an extra special experience. Highly recommend Lucca’s for a fun night out.

I was hunting for a good Ceasar Salad and my son recommended Lucca’s since was nearby. Coincidentally, I was just down the street. Service was quick and friendly. Food was served promptly and it was really good with a chicken breast. There might have been too much dressing but it wasn’t objectionable. The staff kept my ice tea and water full. Price was reasonable considering the size of the portion. I’ll be back.

I had the children BBQ pizza… I couldn’t taste or find any chicken in it. Just cheese and BBQ sauce.
(Reply to the owner) you either see things that aren’t there or you think you have eagle vision. How can you actually see the chicken when there’s only cheese that anyone can see ?? You must be one of those delusional people who lives on a different planet. Does the photo has to be taken from my point of view ?!?! You obviously should have no business running a restaurant.

Visited with family who were in town for the holidays. It was 17 of us, so I made a reservation ahead of time. Upon arrival we were greeted promptly, our table was ready, and we were seated right away. The menu offered a nice selection of pizzas, salads, and pastas. Though I didn’t notice a kids menu, it might’ve been available on request. We started with a variety of appetizers: fried and grilled calamari, a charcuterie board, hot wings, and cheesy bread. For the main course we chose pizzas and calzones, they were tasty, crisp crusts and fresh toppings. Service was friendly and attentive; my water glass was never empty. The vibe was relaxed and easygoing. When a child in our group got sick, our server cleaned up immediately without hesitation, which we really appreciated. It’s a solid spot for date night, after work, or a casual dinner with friends or family. I’ll definitely come

Our family loves ❤️ Lucca’s. Best pizza around the southwest burbs. Their wine selection is superb. The staff and employees and chefs are amazing. Our daughter craves and devours the Alfredo chicken noodles. My wife and I treasure the fresh salads . Lucca’s is a special part of La Grange.

Friendly, professional and efficient staff. Even when ordering takeout I’ve had a pleasant exchange. The restaurant is consistently full and buzzing with activity however the hostess was patient and greeted each person with a welcoming smile. The pizza here is delicious, exactly what you’d expect from an Italian restaurant and delivery is prompt. I ate at the bar and the service was great in spite of the fact that the bartender also had to make drinks for seated guests. It may not be ideal for an intimate date as the noise level can be high but there is outside seating which is much quieter. The food was delicious. The grilled calamari was tender and flavorful as were the wings. The minestrone was thin and really oily and lacked flavoring…I wouldn’t recommend it.

If you’re looking for a spot in La Grange with a cozy yet vibrant atmosphere, Lucca’s Pizzeria & Ristorante is a fantastic choice. From the pictures, the ambiance radiates warmth with rustic decor and a charming mural that adds to the intimate dining experience. It’s perfect for casual dinners or family celebrations, as highlighted by the birthday gathering captured in the photos.

The food looks fresh and inviting. The grilled chicken salad stands out with its vibrant greens, juicy chicken chunks, avocado slices, and a sprinkle of cheese for extra flavor. The croutons look golden and crispy, pairing well with the side of zesty dressing. This dish is a great lighter option for those wanting a refreshing, healthy meal.

The pizza, on the other hand, is the showstopper. A generously sized pie with a perfectly browned crust and an abundance of melted cheese, topped with robust slices of salami and a sprinkle of herbs. It screams indulgence and comfort food at its best—ideal for sharing during special occasions or casual evenings.

The drinks selection adds a lively touch. The variety of cocktails, ranging in vivid colors and garnished elegantly, suggests a creative and well-curated drink menu. Whether you’re in the mood for something fruity or refreshing, there’s likely a drink to match. The celebratory toast in the photo reflects the joy of enjoying good company, food, and drinks in a welcoming space.

The family birthday celebration perfectly encapsulates the spirit of Lucca’s—a place where loved ones can come together over hearty meals, refreshing drinks, and a festive atmosphere.

In summary, Lucca’s Pizzeria & Ristorante delivers on quality food, creative drinks, and a cozy setting, making it a great choice for family gatherings, birthdays, and memorable evenings. If you’re ever in La Grange, it’s worth a visit!
