We chose Moondance Grill to celebrate my daughter’s 18th birthday, and it was the perfect choice. From the moment we arrived, we were seated immediately and made to feel welcome. Our waiter was attentive, knowledgeable, and gave excellent recommendations—every suggestion was spot on.
The restaurant is located in beautiful Germantown, and the vibe was relaxed, classy, and perfect for a special occasion. Every dish at our table was a hit. We ordered the salmon, lamb, steak, and Cajun pasta, and everyone loved their meal. For appetizers, we had the spinach dip with chips and the steak bites—both were absolutely delicious.
Great food, great service, and a great atmosphere. Moondance Grill made my daughter’s birthday celebration memorable, and we’ll definitely be back.

I took my wife here for her birthday and it was a nice evening. Hannah was our server and she did a great job. The salmon, green beans and potato casserole were good. The food was good and the atmosphere is really nice and the piano music and the singing was great.

I’ve been to Moondance a few times, and this was probably one of my worst experiences there. On previous visits, I’ve had the lamb chops and braised short ribs. This time, I wanted to try something different. I’ve heard good things about the maple bourbon glaze salmon, so I decided to try it. I also ordered the Rockefeller oysters, bread service, she-crab soup, and lamb chops. The soup was one of my first dishes, I enjoyed the flavors but it was lukewarm when served. The maple bourbon glaze was very sweet, and the salmon tasted like water with the char on the sides being overly charged and sometimes giving a burnt flavor. It felt too sweet paired with the sweet potato casserole, but the green beans served with the casserole were enjoyable. The lamb chops were not great; they were supposed to be cooked medium but were still very chewy and lacked enough seasoning. Lamb is usually pretty good, so I was disappointed. The oysters were good; I really enjoyed those. Our server was not good. He brought our first course out almost gold. He kept trying to sell us more items, even though his service was terrible. He asked my partner if he wanted another drink but never refilled our waters. He also brought the dessert menu and was ready with our check before we even had the chance to decide on dessert. It was a wild experience, and I’m not used to service like that or food like that at Moondance.

Absolutely amazing restaurant. The servers are very nice, the restaurant is very chill, and the food was so good that I had to come here and leave a review! The food portions are very filling. I had some delicious herbal tea, the salmon dip, and the moon dance burger. Everything was hot, fresh, and perfectly seasoned. Good job everyone!

First time to this hidden gem. Service, atmosphere, and food were outstanding. Quiet with light music , easy to carry conversation. We had the short rib tacos, lobster roll, French fries (steak and string), and finished with a delicious bread pudding.

The service was amazing, I want to add that it was my birthday dinner and I brought my toddler with me. My toddler indeed toddler-ed the entire time. The servers were great. We had Olivia and her trainer. My toddler spilled lemonade and they were very accommodating and helpful. This is a huge plus considering this is not exactly an environment catering to kids meaning there is no kids menu and more on the upscale side of restaurants.
The environment was very nice, great ambiance, noise level was not to loud, and had a very nice mix of people.
The food and drinks were great. I had Samburg oysters which was great, BBQ shrimp which was good but the shrimp was overcooked, and lamb chops which were perfection! The sauce on them were so good, I wish there was some on the mashed potatoes. As much as I would like to joke about the lonely 4 pieces of asparagus, I was so full by then that it was enough. The lemon drop comes in so many flavors it is hard to choose. It would be a great idea to offer a lemon drop flight and be sure to let me know when you d lol. I enjoyed my night,

First visit to this restaurant. I arrived around 4pm and was seated immediately. I had been told their lobster rolls were excellent, but since TN is a land locked state, they only have it frozen. I decided on their cheeseburger. I have 4 stars since it’s center was more red than pink, cooked medium when I requested it prepared medium well to well done. I still ate it as is and enjoyed it. Fries were perfect. I will try going again sometime in the future.
Note: 1. My waitress was a trainee working with the regular waiter. Both were great. 2. I have been to many restaurants that have problems preparing burgers and steaks medium well, so was not very upset. I did NOT mention it to the waiter.

What a great find! We were staying at the Hampton Inn nearby and were able to walk over. Delicious lamb chops with garlic mashed potatoes and asparagus. Hummus and pita appetizer was great too. A true gem of a meal! Reservations recommended.
