I genuinely love Popeyes chicken, which is the only reason I kept giving this location another chance. But after this visit, I’m officially done.
I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich meal and got a sandwich that wasn’t spicy at all—more like a small chicken tender tossed on a bun. The fries tasted like they’d been scraped from the bottom of the batch and left sitting out. The soda machine was serving nothing but flat drinks, so I had to switch to lemonade. And when I tried to pay with cash, I was told “exact change only,” which pretty much summed up the whole experience.
And to whoever responds to these reviews: you’ve been giving the same copy‑and‑paste replies for months, but nothing ever changes. At this point, it’s clear nothing will.
I love the chicken, but no more.
My business is going to the many other options we have in town for a chicken sandwich.

The only reason why I gave 2 stars is because customer service. The cashier and I’m assuming she was the manager , cook as well was very nice .
The food is not fresh or maybe the grease is so bad that makes the food taste horrible.
I visited the location Saturday and today.
The store open at 10 am and I was there by 11am and the chicken looks and taste like yesterday chicken.
Very disappointed when you spending your hard earned money .

Customer service needs to be improved. We didn’t get the food that we requested and they also rung us up for the wrong order. We were also requesting the 3 pc Big Box meal, but was told that it’s only 2 pc, just to find out through the app that it’s indeed a 3 pc. Tried to come back and was first told that they can’t remake because they were “about to close” (it was 9:38 PM and they don’t close until 11), and then when we asked for a refund, a 2nd employee came back and said we had to come back tomorrow for the “GM” (assuming that’s the general manager) to give a refund. Overall wouldn’t recommend this restaurant. Try Cane’s on Veterans Parkway.

Popeyes is one of my favorites however the person who took my order did not listen. I was pretty pissed off when I got home and found that I got a 3 piece chicken instead of 3 chicken tenders. Was charged for 2 meals when it should have been 1 meal and 3 tenders. Pointless to call when u live an hr away.

I’ve been here a few times but usually just got the chicken sandwich or tenders which are consistently pretty good. This time i placed a mobile order for the butterfly shrimp because i heard good things about them. When i got there, the woman at the drive thru window said they were all out of them, which didn’t really surprise me. But the woman at the window was just so courteous and tactful! 11/10 for customer service!

Stood there for 25 mins for 2- 2 piece combos & 1- 1/4 popcorn shrimp & 2 tenders meal. Also seen another man standing there (who had been there since I got there), with his receipt in hand & walked up to counter & spoke to a lady walking up, who looked him in the face as he was talking & Then turned around & ignored the customer like she didn’t hear him. I clearly heard the young man so I know she heard him & he was as shocked at her reaction as me & other customers standing waiting! The fry bag they gave me with 1 of my meals also seemed Very shorted & the employee told me “This is how our fries come!” (Pic posted below) we were given more fries so this issue was addressed though but Still… I feel they can do wayyy better!

Unbelievable this is the second Popeyes we went to within 20 mins and this place had the workers sitting in their cars smelling like weed. Then when we were trying to go into a locked store, they came out of the car with a child into the restaurant. I would be a fool to let them make food for me or even my worst enemy. Corporate Popeyes needs to get a handle on this issue in Bloomington.

Food was good. Drive thru extra slow. With only 3 cars in drive thru and one in parking lot. The atmosphere 1 star is for how the building looks outside.
Horrible ! If the inside is like the outside you might want to think twice about eating here.
Landscaping is Horrible. Looks like a third world county. Grass hasn’t been mowed in a couple months. Weeds coming up in the rooks everywhere. Weeds coming up an the concrete at some spots. Trash scattered in parking lot. Drive thru very dirty with Weeds and trash. Step it up Popeyes !! People want clean attractive restaurants. Appearance could scare some away. Also no cash accepted. ??? I would have to think that would eliminate some customers.

From the employees to the food, this location is a mess. Long waits, old-tasting chicken & just overall unprofessional. Today 9/28 was the second time that I’ve pulled up to the drive-thru & got no answer. I pulled around to see if I would see any employees but couldn’t see much so I went inside. Got inside & there were lights off, not a piece of chicken in sight, 1 person I could barely see in the cooking area & a random baby on one of the tables. Mind you this was around 3:30pm, clearly within their operating hours. If for whatever reason you decide not to operate maybe put a sign so ppl are not just waiting at the drive-thru or wasting their time coming inside. I will be sticking with the marketplace location whenever I get a Popeyes craving.
