The pork shank defies explanation. It’s MASSIVE, crispy on the outside and perfectly cooked inside. The gravy should be offered by the gallon.

We had a wonderful experience at Wunderbar German Kitchen & Biergarten. The food was delicious and everything came out fresh and flavorful. The atmosphere was exactly what we were hoping for. It was warm, fun, and the perfect place to celebrate our son’s birthday.

The updated decor only adds a more festive atmosphere for the wonderful food that is offered at Wunderbar. The choice of beers was plentiful. The soups were outstanding, flavorful and enjoyed by those who ordered them. The sampler platter and schnitzel were delicious. The dessert of the pancakes was a welcome surprise. You could taste the cinnamon and butter, and were quite addictive. As many times as I have dined here, I have never been disappointed. The service, the food choices as well as the quality of the food are magnificent.

Oh my gosh! How did I not know this place existed? I love German food, but most of the options I’ve tried in the Miami area have been disappointing. I guess I gave up looking for a good German place. But this October, i decided to try again and stumbled upon Wunderbar. So glad I did. From the excellent service to the delicious food, from the broad menu of German beers to the laid back atmosphere – everything was delightful. I thoroughly enjoyed myself.

Found this place through an instagram post and it exceeded all expectations. Food was amazing; we split a pretzel and other German food and desserts. I went on a Sunday where Liters of beer were half off. Service was great, atmosphere was great. Will be coming back!

Wunderbar is not just a clever name for the restaurant, it is a full on description!! I can’t think of a more perfect word to describe this place. My wife and I decided to give it a shot last Sunday to round off the last and first holiday weekend of the new year. Little did we know that Sunday’s are 50% off Liters of Beer!!! We each grabbed a liter of our absolute favorite Hofbrau Oktoberfestbier and tucked into our Bavarian feast! A huge tray with all our favorites! Schweinshaxe (roasted pork knuckle), pork and veal Schnitzel, house made Bratwurst, Spaetzle and Red Cabbage, and 4 house made pretzels! If you’re looking for incredibly delicious German fare in a very unassuming and comfortable setting you really need to checkout Wunderbar German Kitchen and Biergarten!

Wunderbar German Kitchen & Biergarten in Davie never disappoints. We’ve been a few times and also order delivery, and the food is always excellent. Today’s dine-in was fantastic: the chicken schnitzel was crispy outside and tender inside, with rich gravy, tangy red cabbage, and perfect sauerkraut and spätzle. I also tried the “Hugo” cocktail for the first time and it’s my new favorite—refreshing and not too sweet. Portions are generous, everything arrives hot (even with delivery), and packaging is thoughtful. Service was superb—Giovanni took great care of us and kept everything moving with a smile. Clean, friendly, and consistent. Highly recommend for anyone craving real German comfort food in Broward. We’ll keep coming back!
