A nice laid back beach club where you can just chill and enjoy a beach day in comfort. There are some sand fleas and ants, so if you are sensitive to these guys like me bring some insect repellent. There were 2 of us and only one got some itchy insect bites…. maybe it just me. That being said, it was a very nice day, and a great memory!

We visited Yaya Beach during our cruise stop in Costa Maya, and it was such a great experience. The place is nice, clean, and well-maintained, and the service was absolutely top-notch — the staff was friendly and attentive without being pushy.
The food was delicious and reasonably priced, which made it even better compared to typical cruise excursions. The only downside was the beach water, but that’s not their fault — the entire strip has been dealing with sargassum (seaweed) for years.
If you’re looking for a chill, affordable place to relax during your port day instead of booking an overpriced cruise excursion, I definitely recommend checking out Yaya Beach!

9 of us came here for the day and rented two cabanas. It wasn’t cheap ($480) but everything was included. The service we got from Markam from start to finish was incredible. We never had to ask for a thing. The kids had a blast. Transportation to and from the cruise ship was super easy as well. Be prepared to endure constant hassling from peddlers on the beach but they are usually pretty good about leaving once you tell them no. We would come back here in a second. Great place!

PERFECT place to take kids if you’re stopping here for the day. Very affordable, much less than the other beach resorts and there’s a barrier so the kids can’t go out in deep water. Great food, drinks & service. Lots of little shops around to explore. Massage on the beach was great too

Yaya’s was great for dinner and drinks last night. Fanny was our bartender and waitress, and she was attentive, fun and very helpful.
Food was pretty good and fresh. Woulda been 5 stars, but they didn’t have quite a few things that were on the menu.

We had the absolute best day at Yaya Beach Club in Costa Maya. If you’re cruising with kids and looking for a safe, relaxing, and comfortable beach experience, this is it.
The biggest highlight for us was how safe the water felt for children. There’s a sandbar a few hundred yards out that breaks the waves, so there are no big swells or strong currents trying to pull you out. The water stays calm and gentle — perfect for little swimmers. They even provided sand toys, which kept the kids happily entertained for hours.
The seating was another huge plus. Instead of the typical single plastic beach chairs, the loungers felt more like beach beds — wide, comfortable, and perfect for stretching out and relaxing.
The food was excellent across the board. We ordered ceviche, a hamburger, the fish of the day with salad, chicken nuggets and fries, and cheese quesadillas — everything was fresh and delicious. The three adults got the unlimited beverage package (well worth it!), and even though our kids were young enough not to be charged, they enjoyed virgin strawberry daiquiris all day. Every drink we tried was fantastic.
There’s also a massage area right on the beach for about $1 per 2 minutes.
Our waiter/the manager, Markam, was incredible. She made sure everyone felt comfortable and happy the entire time. When the wind picked up and the kids got chilly after swimming, she even made them hot chocolate. That kind of thoughtful service really stood out. She also made sure a cab was ready for us at the exact time we wanted to head back to the ship so we wouldn’t feel rushed or stressed.
There were vendors walking the beach selling items, but no one was pushy. It actually felt relaxed and pleasant to browse.
The cab ride was about $20 total for three adults and two young kids. We shared a cab from the cruise terminal to the resort, and everything was smooth and easy.
We would absolutely return to Yaya Beach Club and highly recommend it — especially for families looking for a safe, comfortable, and truly enjoyable beach day in Costa Maya.

We spent the day here on a cruise stop. It was fabulous. Markam greeted us as soon as we walked in and was so incredibly attentive and friendly for our stay. The service was incredible, the drinks were delicious. I tried the tempura shrimp tacos and they were so good. They have a netted off area in the water and it’s so calm and clear. We wouldn’t hesitate to go here again on our next trip.

We visited the beach club with a group of 9 family members and had a great experience. The area we were set up in was quiet and comfortable, providing a relaxing spot to enjoy the beach.
