This place is a Deland staple! If a small resturant lasts over 20 years, you know you need to visit! Food is served hot & fresh. Service is good and quick too. My first choice for Mexican when I am in the area.

I wished I was typing a nice review for our forgettable visit today but this is not the case.
We have been dining here for almost nine years and in the past we have always had wonderful food, wonderful service and a wonderful visit.
Today things changed for ts here. While we did get seated quickly when we arrived things took a turn for the worse shortly afterwards.
Noby cone to bring us out silverware and napkins. No one brought us pls menu. No one came to take our drink orders.
We were just seated and forgotten.
I have been dealing with some tough emotions this week and I was really looking forward to a comforting meal. But I stead we were left with bad tastes in our mouths.
This definitely showed us a serious lapse in this restaurants’ management.
The only other time we dealt with this same situation was at Dustin’s bbw down the road. And we thought we could always depend on great service at mi Mexico
Today we ended up being very disappointed by this restaurant. We will not be coming back anymore.

These guys have the tastiest and most consistent high quality Mexican food. They have excellent prices and weekly specials. The folks that work here are super nice and we always feel comfortable here. This is our #1 choice for Mexican food in the area.

Service was fast, food was super fast, and I think that was a problem. I ordered the shrimp chimichanga and it was terrible , the shrimp were so hard (overcooked) and had little in the way of flavor. The tortilla was super soggy and not crispy at all. The beans and rice with it were phenomenal though.

I ordered skinny margarita. I received a watered down margarita made with SODA WATER! When I questioned the waiter about the ingredients, he said he followed the recipe from TikTok! And then questioned me on how to make a skinny margarita! I don’t know, I’m not a bartender, but I do know it’s not made with carbonated soda water! To top it off, I had to pay or the untouched drink! Awful restaurant, will never return!!!

It’s a small and cute restaurant with a bright and inviting interior. Generic as Mexican restaurants go. Nothing that stands out but happy it’s comfortable.
The food was well prepared and it was very good. Wasn’t a fan of the giant piece of tomato on my nachos supremos. I would have preferred pico de gallo salsa on it instead. I also added the guac to mine. Doesn’t come with it. This can really be shared with another person though. The portion is huge and I love that. My son ordered a chicken quesadilla from the appetizers and that one is quite large too. Preteen satisfied and full is a huge win for me. Their horchatas are so good. I would drink this every day if I could. Again, another large portion. Yum! The dessert we shared was good too.
The servers there were very kind and attentive. They were friendly and understanding; my son was quite indecisive for a bit there. We had a nice quiet lunch and I enjoyed this visit.

The food is great, always hot and very tasty! My husband introduced me to this place 3+ years ago and i have been obsessed with it ever since. Not just the food but the desserts ARE DELICIOUS! this place is very family friendly and very price friendly!!

Very welcoming from when we arrived till we left. Staff was friendly and personable. We went on a Sunday afternoon towards the evening. Place was kind of busy yet the service was quick. Food was cooked fast and brought out to our liking. Overall the food had great flavor. Prices are reasonable and the portions are a good size. Would definitely go back. Fried ice cream was great to!
