Jolly Pirate Donuts

YUM!!!! I don’t always like getting donuts in the afternoon or evening due to potential lack of freshness, but at 1 PM these donuts were still delicious! The cream in the white cream filled maple long john might be the freshest I’ve ever tasted. And I’ve eaten A LOT of donuts from all over the nation!!! The chocolate devils food cake with chocolate icing was great too! Can’t wait to go back and try more…(though I’m trying to watch my sugar intake!! Eek!) Thanks, you’re the jolliest of pirates!!! ‍☠️

Was not a fan but decided to give them a try. The place was clean with a few locals dining in. The clerk was sufficient and quick. Appreciate, being able to call and check selection before going. Will definitely visit again. That Banana cream and Apple Spice donut.. 10/10

This was the go to store after the one in whitehall closed down. Recently the donuts haven’t been very good. This particular time I am halfway through a long john donut and have yet to see any cream in it. Do better Jolly Pirate.

So far this was my favorite tasting doughnut shop. The honey dip were great. The people that worked there went above and beyond to get you what you wanted. Sometimes they have a few unglazed ones in the back that I have them dipped in chocolate. Yum

For the first time in years, I actually walked into the store instead of using the drive through. I purchase a whole dozen of donuts. (Which is rare) I don’t know if the recipe has changed or if there was a last minute substitute for an ingredient but, I HAVE NEVER HAD A BAD TASTING DONUT FROM JOLLY PIRATE. THAT CHANGED TONIGHT! It wasn’t even sweet. I don’t usually use nasty to describe food. I cut multiple pieces of donuts and ALL OF THEM taste
I’m very disappointed.
Is this why I wasn’t charged for the specialty donut??

I bought a dozen mixed donuts. They didn’t have a very large selection of donuts. The cake donuts were good but the long johns we’re not. They were dense. I think they were not proofed long enough. They had very little cream in them. They person who waiting on me was in a hurry and not overly friendly. I have to say this visit was not typical of this location. I have always had a good experience until now.

Me and my kids went in to pick up a dozen donuts, and while we were choosing, the lady who was helping us started coughing right into her hands over the donuts. She wasn’t wearing gloves and didn’t even turn away to cover her mouth. That was very unsanitary, so we decided to leave — and the couple behind us did too. A lot of people have low immunity or get sick easily, so this really isn’t acceptable. I recommend that management train the employees better on food safety and proper sanitation practices.
