and all the staff made Barry’s birthday such a wonderful occasion. The food was so delicious!!!!!You have to stop in they are located on Jupiter rd. In Plano!!!!!
Our food was delicious and our server, Holden, was very friendly and attentive! We especially loved the chocolate chip waffle and scrambled cheesy eggs which were warm, fluffy, and absolutely perfect. Holden put the best songs on the jukebox to create a fun inviting atmosphere despite the restaurant being rather empty at the time. He even recommended places to visit when we told him we were visiting Plano from a different city. Overall, the service was phenomenal and the food was amazing. Will definitely be back when in the area again.
What really stood out was the overall atmosphere. Every staff member we interacted with had the same cheerful, positive attitude, and it truly made the whole place feel welcoming and upbeat. You can tell when a team enjoys what they do, and it shows here.
Thank you, Crystal, and thank you to the entire staff for making our breakfast such a pleasant experience. We’ll definitely be back!!!
The server wasn’t mean or disrespectful …..he just… didn’t really serve us.
When we walked in, we weren’t greeted.
We had to ask him to take our drink order,
and it took about 16 minutes to get our waters and coffee.
We also had to ask him to take our food order after waiting.
The restaurant itself was extremely quiet like, you could look hear a straw drop.
I do get overstimulated easily, which is my own thing, but the complete lack of music or background noise made it feel awkward and uncomfortable instead of calm or welcoming.
At one point after I ate my food – i noticed the server sneeze twice in the direction of the open food area. He did wash his hands afterward, which I appreciated, but it was still a little concerning.
Once we had our food, we were never checked on. We weren’t asked if we needed anything, if we wanted condiments, or if we needed to-go boxes.
We had to get our own straws and honey. We needed butter, and the only reason we got it was because a really kind gentleman who was cooking noticed and asked if we needed anything.
I also asked for a coffee refill. He said he was making a fresh batch, but it never came out. I eventually had to track him down and remind him because he forgot about it completely.
Anytime we asked for something, he didn’t act rude he just seemed a little bothered, which made us feel uncomfortable asking at all.
I understand being understaffed — there were only two employees working — but there were also only four people total in the restaurant at the time.
We weren’t rushing and we were patient, but we were definitely neglected.
I felt bad only leaving a $1 tip, because that’s not something I like to do, but there truly wasn’t any service provided.
The food itself wasn’t the issue. The experience was. It just didn’t feel welcoming, and that’s really what made it disappointing.
Everything we needed we had to had to ask for one by one. Got coffee but had no utensils and had to ask for cream. Got pancakes but had to ask for butter and syrup. Got our meals painstakingly slow one dish at a time with no breakfast meats. When we asked for our bacon and sausage he grabbed what was in the kitchen and it was COLD. And still didn’t end up receiving one of our sides so he had to take it off our check as we were not going to wait any longer.
Last but not least one of the servers burned my hand. They never checked on us for refills, we finally asked for coffee, the pot was nearly empty and he was forcing the last of it out so the coffee stream came out all wonky and burned my hand. Pretty sure the manager was standing right there and made no effort to check in on me.
No one was manning the cashier so there was a line of people waiting to put in their to go orders and no one to check people out.
Some of them are working very hard, but some have zero multi tasking abilities, and management seems to be extremely lacking and uncaring.
