We’ve ordered takeout multiple times but this time we went around 5pm and sat at the hightops on a friday night. We enjoyed the complimentary bread/oil and then had the llittle necks and oysters over a couple drinks. Our waitress was informative of where local seafood was from and very attentive. Everything was perfect. Highly recommend!

Not my first visit to this lovely spot and I’ve enjoyed dining indoors and on the patio. You never feel rushed but the service is top notch. Delicious bread, wonderful shrimp mozambique and incredible scallops. Prices are very reasonable.

We went out for Valentine’s dinner ended up at mesa 21. How much it was good although it was fairly busy we could still carry a conversation. The service was phenomenal. My date got the Portuguese steak, it was very bland and plain like it had been charbroiled with no seasonings and then put in a plate with sauce. My polvo(octopus) was very much the same including extremely rubbery the sauce itself was outstanding my potatoes some will cooked and somewhere extremely tough or raw. Although the service was wonderful I probably would not repeat this

Bifana sandwich and chorico and egg sandwich were both delicious! My only complaint which isn’t a huge deal since they have it on bottle is wish they had Super Bock on draft !. I will definitely be back for these sandwiches.

There are three reasons why I love dining at Mesa 21. Excellent service and food, plus great prices. The staff is very well organized and hustles to provide the best service. The food is great. Taco Tuesday is a must try. $3.00 tacos with either dirty or truffle fries will hit the spot. The tacos are either: fish, chicken, pork or beef. My fav is the chicken. We went back and tried the Italian pizza. We also ordered the calamari and could not eat it all. The large pizza is like an extra large at most places. The Dragon Steak Nachos are insanely tasty and filling. The King Prime Rib special on Thursday is superb. Mine was served with mashed potatoes and asparagus. My wife gave the scallops a thumbs up. Back again and tried the Cod Cakes, which were excellent and I don’t like seafood. Our friend had the salmon and he said, “Good salmon, good potatoes, good food.” My wife says every time we come here it runs like a well oiled machine. Everything we have tried has been great. Back again for Taco Tuesday. Back once more with different friends from Kansas for Taco Tuesday. What a fantastic lunch we had. Great meal again with great service. Tried the Mesa 21 steak with round potatoes and enjoyed every bite. Back again for the King Prime Rib special. Started with Mesa 21 Rolls as an appetizer. Went with one shrimp and one chorizo. Both were great as was the sauce. The sauce is so good that I put some on my mashed potatoes. My wife went with the Atlantic Oven Roasted Cod Loin and her comment was “I have found a new favorite.” Once again Mesa 21 did a great job. Always a great place to enjoy a fine meal. Deanna always does a great job providing allstar service. Went back again looking for an enjoyable dining experience and were not disappointed. Kylah gave us allstar service and the food was great as well. I ordered the Portuguese Steak Tips which were cooked exactly as I wanted and came covered in sautéed onions, peppers and mushrooms. The fries were crispy and tasty. My wife ordered the Veggie Pizza again and enjoyed it very much. I Ordered the Portuguese Chicken Special and I enjoyed every bite. The chicken was tender and tasty, covered with a fried egg and red pepper slices. The fries and rice that came with it tasted great as well. The fries were crispy and the rice was cooked perfectly. Hannah provided wonderful service throughout our dinner. You cannot go wrong here with the excellent service and food.

First, we’ve been coming here for years and it was always good. I don’t know what happened in the last year or so but the food has been horrible. Went there today and ordered pork and littkenecks which was always my favorite. The sauce was disgusting! A thick tomato sauce, nothing like what it was before. Inedible! My husband’s steak was also terrible. The sauce was not the same, it was watery and lacked any flavor. The rice tasted old. I don’t know how they are still open!

Had the Cajun chicken and Shrimp pasta with sausage. Has been one of my favorite dishes in the area when its done right. Todays version was good. Have had the fish sandwich, steak sandwich and their pizza on past visits as well. Usually can’t go wrong here. Wife had the Mesa steak, it was cooked well, but lacked the steak sauce that is typically served.
