First visit. Arrived about 3. No one was there. It was clean, well decorated, and set up with inside and outside seating. We sat at the bar and a waitress came out of the kitchen to help us. She allowed us to try 2 beers in shot glasses. We loved both and ordered one of each. One had a pear undertone and it was light and took the normal heavy beer flavor out. (As a woman, I loved this) The other was Gingers Revenge Hibiscus ginger beer. It was awesome! Wish we could get this back home! We ordered the pulled pork sandwich with sweet potato crunch and a brisket sandwich with same side. Both were delicious and ample serving size. All the employees we interacted with were friendly, accommodating, and attentive during our whole visit ! We’ll definitely go back!

Great place. delicious food and fabulous crafted beer from different breweries (we tried watermelon flavored & bourbon barrel this time). Clean and cozy ambiance. Good and fast service. Indoor and outdoor seating, ideal for family gathering.
The brisket is my favorite followed by the ribs.

We were coming home from hiking and decided to grab a bite on the way home. Monkey Wrench Smokehouse didn’t disappoint. We got a table right away, the service was outstanding, very accommodating and friendly. I had brisket taco (fair price at $3.50 per each). My husband had Nashville chicken burger with crispy fries and he enjoyed his food. We also split pineapple habanero wings which were delicious!

We really enjoyed our meal. There was a really laid back atmosphere. We visited at 1:30 so the lunch crowd had left and the dinner crowd had not started yet. We had the monkey wrench cheese burger with fries and a half rack of ribs with Mac and cheese, collards, and fried okra. Everything was delicious. They provide children’s toys at the back of the building. There is parking available behind the building in the church parking lot (this parking is not available on Sundays btwn certain hours). We will definitely be back soon

We shared the rib plate and the stuffed potato. Both were excellent! The sauce is a nice sweet BBQ that went well on the potato! The service was excellent and the places was nice, big and airy. Back area was a nice place to relax with Adirondack chairs, corn hole games and some great music. Great place to just hang!

Holy Smokes was this place awesome! You had my attention at today’s special is Haddock! Huge Haddock fan and was so surprised that I live on the beach and I have to go to Travelers Rest to get a good piece of fish! So many things fantastic about this place, atmosphere, CHECK, food, CHECK, waiter, DOUBLE CHECK, price, CHECK. If we lived closer, I”m sure this would become our go-to place! My wife got the brisket and she said it was out of this world! I got the haddock with the “Son of a Peach” beer which was so tasty. Before I settled on that, the great waiter brought me 3 samples to try. What great service! For Monkey Wrench Smokehouse, you can have my entire catalog and even the songs I have not written yet! How about that? For this great place, I’m feeling, “Love Our Life” album and the track, “Heart of Mine.” Just seems to fit this place. Enjoy the photos!

Hands down the best place around!!! We’ve explored the area for the weekend, and we came here more than once! Which is odd for us while vacationing! We LOVE it here! The food is soooo good, drinks are delicious, atmosphere is on point! We loved everything about it! If you’re in the area, definitely worth the trip!!! 11/10 recommend!

Very nice, open seating inside with a large bar. Also, a good size covered outside seating area as well. A good menu that’s not too heavy with choices, which I think is a good thing!
I had the Mac and cheese bowl with brisket. My friend had the brisket sandwich with sweet potato crunch as a side.
I enjoyed my meal. The mac and cheese is baked, so it’s not melty, runny cheese, but there is plenty of cheese in there! The brisket was very good, almost falling apart tender! If I had to get picky, it was just a bit salty, but I’d definitely get it again.
My friend said his brisket sandwich was fantastic and liked the toppings it comes with.
I tried the sweet potato crunch. I didn’t notice much crunch, but it was very good. Not to sweet as some bbq places do.
Can’t wait to go back again to try the other items on the menu!

This is another fantastic restaurant by Andy O’Mara. Each place I’ve visited I have been more than pleased. There are limited chicken options but still incredible!
The venue is wheelchair accessible. Note there is not a dedicated access aisle for disabled guests. This means if people park blocking the access then someone who uses a mobility device will struggle to get in. Despite this, the rest of the store is wheelchair accessible.
The food is incredible with extremely generous portions.
