We had lunch here because we were able to bring our dogs. The waitress Kimberly was great, she had a lot of knowledge about the menu and drinks and was very attentive. She even alerted us when others with dogs were coming in.
We ordered plain burgers for the pups. Kimberly made sure they had plates, water and were happy.
She had the Mahi protein bowl, nice flavors but the fish was a little overcooked.
I had the baked oyster sampler. I usually do raw but figured why not. OMG the flavors on all three were great and recommended.
Oh yeah, we had Nashville hot wings as an appetizer. They had a nice crunch and you could taste the sweetness from the honey but I had to add habanero sauce for heat.

The food at this restaurant is above average for typical tavern/pub food. The oysters on the half shell were good and the cup of cream of crab was delicious. My neighbor had seared tuna that looked perfectly prepared. There is a small but interesting assortment of draft beer and a full bar is available for drinks or cocktails. The service is friendly and professional, and the feel of the place is warm and inviting. I just wish they would serve all this in other ways than on disposable cardboard and/or plastic silverware, cups and plates.

Ate here for lunch, took my two dogs and they were able to sit outside with us. Food was great. Options were good. I had the raw oyster combo and mahi tuna taco. My wife had the barefoot burger. Food was delicious, came out quick. Also had the bloody Mary, which was ok. Would recommend this place if you’re in town.

The absolute best, freshest oysters we’ve ever had! Server said they’re from Cedar Island. Plump, salty, briney sweet, juicy and clean with no shell fragments, crabs or sand. Service was great. Spicy margarita was amazing and worth the ferry ride by itself! Really enjoyed the selection of 5+ hot sauces! Prefer non-dairy butter so that was also a plus. 10/10 would recommend and return as often as possible.

Started off with a crab dip appetizer with bread, the bread was the best part. Dip was not tasty and the portion size was smaller than a pot pie pan. At $14.95 it was not worth the money.
Blackened Mahi-Maui were dry and not tasty.
Had a $24.99 “fresh” fried shrimp dinner, I have had better frozen shrimp , cocktail sauce tasted like bad ketchup. Fries and hush puppies were GREAT!
Crab cake sandwich was mediocre at best, not worth the cost. Again the fries were great.
The last item was a protein bowl with grilled chicken. They said this was delicious and was the only item completely eaten.
Maybe it was an off day but I personally would not try it again or recommend to anyone.

Very family friendly, with a very kind staff. Sometimes it’s a good place to grab a beer and an ear, and other times for some good grub. Or maybe just stop by for dessert on your way home. Whatever the case, this place has a little something for you. Quaint eatery and sometimes live music. You can sit indoors or outside.

Cool place with great staff. Everyone was helpful and friendly with great service. Just love the vibe here. Such a chill, relaxed atmosphere. It used to be the Ocracoke Bar and Grille location. I got the oyster rockefeller and the oyster mon louis. Both were really good! Never had the mon louis before. My wife got the mahi tacos. They were really good as well. The mahi is really well seasoned and cooked. The fish was very juicy and the cilantro crema was a great compliment. The black beans were also good. Had several drinks as well. Will definitely be coming back.

Came here on New Years Eve with a party of 13, they were patient with us, didn’t make us feel like we were asking too much and after being seated our server, Brandon, was amazing. Made some great recommendations, was very patient with us and made us outsiders feel welcome. Couldn’t recommend this place more! Oh and the honey BBQ sauce is AMAZING!
