This is the worst Chipotle I’ve ever been to. Today, I was in around 4:45pm with limited time to get my order made and get back to work.

One employee was waiting on customers. Three other employees were behind him talking to each other. One of those employees was cutting steak. Another was on his phone. The third was just talking. They did nothing to assist the one employee actually working the line with getting customers out the door. At one point, a female employee came out of the back, said “Hi” to the guys working, did something near the register, and then disappeared.

When I arrived, there were two customers at the counter having their order made by this single employee. I was next in line. This employee was clearly working slowly out of frustration. He made these two orders over the course of seven minutes. He finished with them and the customers moved on to the register where they had to wait for one of the employees talking to actually help them check out. After finishing making their orders, the sole employee working the line decided not to acknowledge the people in line, but to begin wiping down the counter on his side of the line. I watched this slowly happen for a good two minutes with no end clearly in sight. It was clear he was frustrated with the four others who were not working. It was also clear that neither I, nor the customers who had gathered in line behind me, were going to be served any time soon. I understand why he was doing what he was doing. He should not have been left to do this himself when there were four other people visible who were on the clock.

I left out of frustration.

This is the second time I’ve been to this Chipotle. The service my first time was nearly as bad, when the sole employee working the line decided to make the orders of three different customers at one time, leaving me at the register for five minutes while he chatted with the other customers and finished their orders.

Terrible service. The taste of the food pales compared to other Chipotles. The place looked dirty both times. I’ll never return.

I genuinely wish I could give this Chipotle a MILLION stars. Five stars is insulting. This was not a meal — this was a spiritual experience.

From the second I walked in, the vibes were immaculate. The food? Flawless. The portions? Generous beyond belief. The guac? Life-altering. I’m pretty sure I saw a beam of light shine down on the burrito bowl as it was handed to me.

And can we talk about the TALL GUY WITH THE VISOR??? Absolute legend. Icon. Hero of the hospitality industry. The way he moved down the line? Precision. Confidence. Artistry. He didn’t just make my order — he curated it. He constructed that bowl like Michelangelo painting the Sistine Chapel, except instead of a ceiling it was a tortilla and instead of angels it was perfectly scooped chicken.

Customer service? Elite. Energy? Unmatched. If every business had a Tall Guy With a Visor, the world would be a better place. I would trust him to assemble my bowl, plan my wedding, and possibly run the country.

This location has restored my faith in fast casual dining. I will be back. I will tell my children. I will write poetry about this experience.

Chipotle Corporate — protect this establishment at all costs.

This location has slowly slid downhill. Went there today and there was zero leadership present. Everyone except the tortilla girl was moving at a snails pace. People disappeared from the line half way through wrapping. There were no napkins and the whole station was disgusting and a giant box of forks just chilling there. Then I had to find an actual clean table to sit at. Idk what’s going on but this is happening to many chipotles.

this location has gone totally downhill. we go inside, half the time out of different neats. the other half, rationing toppings. most of the time no sour cream or lettuce. we order home alot as we work busy jobs so this is easier for dinner or lunch. now tonight we order, half of our order is missing. order is late and cold. my order is simple. bowl, brown rice, pinto beans, steak chicken double, xtra sour cream, cheese and lettuce. most of the time bowl is barely filled. tonight. totally missing sour cream and cheese. meats ice cold and dry. rice under cooked and half the lettuce soggy. bowl hardly filled. everytime we go in the workers are lazy and barely even want to work. people sitting around int he back on their phones while filling orders. get off tiktok and work and do your jobs. absolutely not worth the money. customer service of no help and jsut offers a free entre. how about a new order or a refund.the store wont answer the phone. wifes bowl also had zero sour cream but had cheese. this is a pathetic business and i will not be spending anymore money here

Hubby loves it.. I love the IDEA of protein being made as available as it is here.. But I don’t like the fact the protein cup tasted so good for a few seconds. Then my mouth was on fire.. and I was in the bathroom with my tongue under the coldest water that faucet would give up.
I’m not saying steer clear.. (I’m a wimp to ALL spicy food.) I just didn’t expect that yummy cup of meat to get me that bad! Fellow lightweights, you’ve been WARNED. ⚠️

The food itself was kind of bland (still edible) compared to other Chipotle’s I’ve been to. My sister found a bone in her chicken (although since its chicken I wouldn’t have considered putting it in this review), but the resturant itself was dirty. We had to wipe our own table (all tables were dirty) The service was a little subpar, the female who served the food was really friendly, but took no care in cleaning her station. And practically cross contaminated the queso sauce by dropping a peice of barbarcoa (a type of steak for those unaware) into. It made the queso not safe as a meatless option. The gentleman, on the otherhand, at the register had amazing service. (This is why its a 2 and not a 1 star)

I’m not one to usually post reviews but this location is horrendous. Always get the order wrong if placing online, constantly missing items, undercooked chicken, restaurant constantly dirty. Customer service unheard of. I’ve worked food service I get being upset people are coming in late. Chairs all ready flipped hours early. Everyone’s got headphones in or on their phones. Last order I had they put about half of what I ordered online . I get being out of stuff but let me know , you could call? Or take the option off the app to order (yes they can do this but choose not to probably). Attached below is a picture of my girlfriends “quesadilla” we could barely eat it the quality was that bad.

Lastly , last time I came here there was an employee sitting get up on the pick up order window , no acknowledgment, waited another employee rudely comes up minutes later with a big attitude problem.

Chipotle clean the house on this location. Will not be going here again .

Food is simple, hearty, delicious nutritious. In a world that’s trying to sell us widgets we don’t need, for $digits$ we don’t have, this is affordable food that meets daily caloric, and protein needs. Dining rooms are plain, and maybe even brutalistic (in the architectural sense of the term). Service is generally marginal. They should consider adding the option to tip on bills (besides just within the app). This might improve service.

the single most disgusting chipotle i’ve ever been to. there is garbage all over the floor, food containers flipped over, gloves/forks on the ground. the food is never right. the rice is undercooked, they don’t give you the portions you paid for. you’re much better off driving 5 minutes away to the chipotle on detroit avenue and never stepping foot into this abomination.

Easily the worst chipotle in the area. No matter what time of day you go, they are always out of something and never prepared! You are guaranteed to wait at least 30+ minutes line or no line. Not to mention how poorly kept the food area is, it almost makes you uncomfortable eating the food they prepare with how dirty it looks! The entire staff hates their job and has horrible customer service besides the one woman working the register. I would literally drive to the steelyard chipotle before I go back here
