Charming Restaurant that is family owned. We had an iconic American breakfast: Eggs, Bacon, Grits and Toast/ Biscuit.
The food was hot and very delicious. Especially the grits which I have found not everyone cooks them perfectly. The grits were creamy and smooth, not lumpy and not overcooked. And the chef understood bacon well done. My bacon was crispy and well browned, not burnt. My daddy always ate his bacon well done and in some cases slightly burnt. He would share it with me so eating bacon this way feels familiar and comforting.
The meal felt like a home cooked breakfast.
The staff is very pleasant and they seem to have a strong bond, like they have all worked together for years. It creates a very welcoming atmosphere.
The staff brought a treat to one of the customers and they all sang ” Happy Birthday”
This is a sweet spot to grab a bite!

I can’t believe it! After years of missing Corams on Thomas Drive, we finally found them again!!!!! I was super excited to order the Spanish Omelet and dig in just like old times. Everything was picture perfect with cheese, tomatoes, onions, and peppers filling the omelet, but it was just not like I remembered. I guess the sauce was not like I remembered. Don’t get me wrong, it was still delicious but just not what I was hoping for. Unfortunately, the memories are what stick with me. We will definitely be back when we visit but I guess I will never have my omelet again.

When I walked in I felt awkward being the only person of color inside the place. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I had ordered the French toast with bacon. It came with 2 eggs too, but I opted out. They offered several meats to select, but I love bacon. I tried the Mocha cappuccino and the regular coffee. I enjoyed everything. I highly recommend this place.

Nice location with lots of parking.stopped in for a late lunch and ended up doing breakfast.pancakes were excellent. A little overkill on the blueberries..Buscuits and gravy were spot on and actually warm when they arrived. I sampled the GF’s fluffy omelette and it was nicely flavored with a good fry.staff was pleasant and polite.definitly a nice place for a visit while road tripping.

I was extremely disappointed, the interior of the place look unfinished, and unwelcoming all together, and when me and my boyfriend sat down and looked at the menu, I was even more disappointed, this so called “southern restaurant” literally had cereal on the menu. I got 1 blueberry hot cake, side of hash browns, with link sausage, my boyfriend got biscuits and gravy with hash browns, we both got sweet tea. The “sweet” tea was unsweetened, but maybe that’s just me because I’m from GA and when we say sweet tea it’s more like sugar with a side of tea. The hotcake was dry, and the blueberries on it was the store bought blueberry jelly you can find anywhere, my sausage was completely burnt, but the hash browns where good, but just a copy and paste of Waffle House hash browns. My boyfriends food was also burnt completely, and the biscuits and gravy where lacking of flavor. Together just for two people we paid 50 dollars. I think that’s insane given the quality and the environment. I am extremely disappointed and will not be returning.

10-30-23 .. We didn’t make it on opening day but came about a week later .. I knew before going it wasn’t going to be the diner style feel so I did prepare myself I did like the cozy atmosphere although I think the tables are a little tight in there ♀️ when full . I seen many elderly ( especially with canes ) struggling through the maze & those who are on the larger size They still have amazing food prepared by the same staff ❤️ Many of the employees from 23rd st came over .. I would have taken more pics of the inside but they were pretty full

I have been looking forward to going here to try the new place being I remember the old places were pretty good. They have a lunch special that changes daily that I tried today. It was disappointing. The hamburger steak was fine but the mashed potatoes tasted like they came straight out of a box mix. The macaroni & cheese tasted and looked just like Kraft. Green beans were OK. Roll was cold which I’ve never been a fan of. Seen several people eating breakfast that looked pretty good. It’s a really nice place and the service and waitress were both very good. Will try again but think I will go for breakfast next time

Wow Extremely comfortable atmosphere, and the food was absolutely delicious! The home fries were just slightly crispy golden and had diced green peppers and onions, and went very nicely with my 1/2 lb double cheeseburger. Amara was my server and she was extremely attentive and very personable. Will definitely be back to try today’s special sometime which is actually my favorite thing usually (Reuben sandwich) but I already had my mind set on the cheeseburger with everything when I walked in. Now I know I’ll be eating the Reuben when my group comes in next Tuesday!

Very nice building and parking lot! Everything looked new! Clean inside and very well kept. Plenty of wait staff and lots of selection on the menu. We all enjoyed the food we ordered and wanted more!
