Our fam of four went to dine at Mama Mias Italian in Seymour TN. Tuesday evening. The owner and young lady server greeted us as we walked in. It looked like the family was sitting together to have their dinner but then a party of 10 and a party of 6 three couples and our party of four, wife my two step sons and I got seated and the owner and I spoke for a bit as his family smiled at us with a welcoming look of kindness and felt like we were in their home. Being that it seemed they were short staffed with only one male and one female server, it became so over whelming as our female server took our drink order and was running back and forth from table to table as was the other server. I noticed that the owner stopped his meal with his family to get on the floor to help his servers as a great boss and manager does to run a successful business. Our server was so amazing as she and everyone else even as short handed as they were, worked hard and delivered everyone’s orders and drinks. When our food came out as the owner himself brought to us to help out, I was so impressed to see the amazing team work they all showed to accomplish excellent service. When we saw our food served very hot and fresh, the immediate presentation, the look, the inviting scent of wonderful flavors and authentic Italian spices and home made fresh from scratch entres. Our appetizers were amazing and our food in all was the best authentic Italian home made from scratch meals that we had were by far the added satisfaction to our experience from the entrance. Our server; not only was she a hard working amazing server, she was a super sweet kind server as was her boss and our other server. We were there Tuesday about 6 to 7 30 p m. I have never tipped any server more than 15.00 at times but she deserved the 27.00 we gave her we can’t wait to return and hopefully bring more family and friends to experience the best Italian cuisine I have ever had since a Los Angeles California Italian restaurant. There have been two more we have gone to between Knoxville, Sevierville and Gatlinburg , Mama Mias Italian beats all by a land slide in every way possible. My 10 yr old and 13 yr old step sons loved the food very much as my wife and i did also. Thank you all to your family , your staff, your wonderful servers, your chefs and the amazing owner manager and awesome leader. THE BEST ADVERTISEMENT IS WORD OF MOUTH !!!

Best Italian restaurant in the Knoxville area. I could honestly be totally happy getting bread knots, a side salad, and a sweet tea. We had Pizza and Lobster ravioli. Everything was perfect. It amazes me that it’s in Seymour because there’s not really good restaurants in Seymour. It’ll be a regular place for me. Ordered take out and girlfriend wants desert and no one ever wants deserts. She also cannot make it home without digging in the bag. If you want good food go to this place and you won’t be dissatisfied.

We were in town for a wedding and needed someplace to eat part way between the Knoxville airport and Pigeon Forge. I picked Mamma Mia’s and I’m really glad I did. All of the food was really delicious. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating.
Four of us were eating and we were waiting on a fifth who was flying in later for the wedding. They waited to put his food order in until he was on the way and were understanding of our unusual situation. We ended up being there for over 2 hours since our flights had gotten in a good bit earlier. Our waitress continued to check on us and got us more bread and drink refills.
All of their desserts looked amazing and the one I ordered was just as good as the rest of the food. In an unforeseen twist, Mamma Mia’s was actually catering the wedding we were attending and so I got to try even more of their food! Every single thing was amazing and the owner was very genuine and friendly.
I want to go back to this area with my family and I will definitely be stopping to eat here when we do.

The food was incredible, service was great. Met the owner, he’s from NJ and learned his craft in NYC and understands the importance of using fresh ingredients and making everything in house and making sure to listen to all his guests. Definitely worth the drive. The portion sizes were huge, have leftovers on the appetizers even. As a note, I grew up in Providence, so I do know good Italian food.

Great food! If you’re wanting pizza or Italian food in general, look no further. This food was great. We got 3 large pizzas. Pepperoni, taco, chicken Alfredo, cheese bread, and spaghetti and meatballs for the kids. It was all amazing. Really really good food. I will be returning here when I visit the smokies again. Only issue we had was they forgot our hot wings so we didn’t get to try those, Luckily it wasn’t on the receipt so we never paid for them. But we had plenty of food anyway. My fault for not check the order before leaving the store. Did I mention the food was great?!?!

Let me tell you !! This place is absolutely amazing and the food is so delicious!!! The service (LELA) was a gem.. she made us feel so welcome and she was very helpfull in food selection!!! Thanks for the GREAT experience… we will be back. I got the greek salad with gyro and shrimp and calamari which was the best I have ever had. My wife got the lobster ravioli and it was amazing …

The food is absolutely to die for. You can taste the love in each bite! I’m not from the area, but my wife and I were just driving by and we found out that this was a recommended spot and now I am too a believer of this place to be a strong recommendation! The owners are funny and the services are down to earth!

Found Mamma Mia’s a couple years ago when they were a quant little restaurant. Took some searching to find them in their new location. So glad we did!! Food was fantastic! The fried calamari and mozzarella sticks were amazing. The fresh lasagna and bake spaghetti with meat sauce was all true Italian food!! The 30 minute drive from Pigeon Forge well worth it! I don’t want to forget about the Baklava homemade dessert.
