Nice little bar in the heart of downtown. Plenty of drink options to choose from and friendly bartenders. They were serving tamales and said that a food truck would be coming from Ft. Davis soon. I had a Midori sour and it was refreshing.

One of my favorite places to dine and drink in Alpine. Friendly service, excellent menu that includes tapas for sharing, and a great selection of beer, wine and spirits. Laid back atmosphere with a killer back patio. Ask for a Big Bend Brewing beer!

We went here looking for some food, but there were mostly drinks. The tamales that were from off-site were delicious (reason for 2 stars), but I was expecting more based on the photos. The bartender was nice and friendly.

Used to be the place to eat, unwind, listen to music, and visit with friends. Couches have been replaced with hard chairs and tables. The “ambiance” has shifted as has clientele. Bartender was cheerful and made a good drink.

Nice place. They were out of a few things on the menu, but the Epic Fries were really good. The mixed drinks tonight were a bit lemon heavy. The atmosphere is really nice and the staff is friendly. I’ll stop by again when I’m back in Alpine.

I stopped here on my way to Marfa Tx, and I’m so glad I did. The burger was so good, and the Strawberry Shiner draft hit the spot!

I like this place. It’s basically the posh bar and grill of Alpine. The tapas options are delicious. I intend to try their monthly sushi night at some point (they sell out within an hour so it’s somewhat competitive). My only knock on Saddle Club is that several items on their drink menu weren’t stocked when I visited. That and they don’t offer high chairs, which might seem like a strange complaint, but Saddle Club has a restaurant-like atmosphere before 9pm.

Usually a nice place to hang out and get some great drinks and food. This last time around, the drinks were horrible. I had a long island ice tea and it tasted like lime. There was no other taste. I don’t know if they made it in hurry or what, but that was a horrible waste and I was completely unsatisfied with my drink, my friend’s was the same. Our waiter was okay, he was patient.

The bartenders are profound mixologists and welcome you with open arms. They do mix their own secret concoctions that a friend of mine already knew about. The food is the dee-lish-us. I ordered the Epic Fries and the name is befitting. I can only imagine the rest of their menu(which I will try upon another visit to Alpine). The interior is well thought out to fit the western/mountain theme. Great place!
