Only reason it’s not 5 stars is the higher prices. I ordered the salad bar with an add-on crab cake. My daughter ordered salad bar with her grilled cheese sandwich plus a pretzel appetizer. All foods delicious!! Lots of excellent healthy choices in their salad bar, as well as 4 different soups, a bread/ toast bar, dessert bar. The crab cake was delicious! Seriously enjoy eating here.

Excellent crab cakes well worth the price. Only 90 some miles from Cheseapeak Bay so the freshness can be tasted. Whitefish also very good. Efficient service.

This has been my go-to place (Carlisle location) since around Christmas time, I bought a gift card and got an additional $10 bonus gift card. My sister bought the same, so we meet here about once a month to catch up and eat. The salad bar is always fresh and neat. The service has always been good too. I love that the dining areas is open and large. Even when tv it’s busy, it’s never crowded. I usually get the salad bar and the grilled chicken and either mashed potatoes ( ) or a baked potato. And I usually take most of the entree home.

This Hoss’s location is exactly what people were afraid would happen to Cracker Barrel. It has the soulless “modern” look with empty, white walls and a black ceiling. A hospital cafeteria has more charm.

I’ve been to a number of hoss’s but I’ve never seen a salad bar in the condition that this one was in. Not only was the food dried out and wilted but most of the toppings that you put on the salad were empty. There was spilled sticky and dry stuff in between each bin as if the top of that salad bar hadn’t been cleaned in a week. The waitress we had was very poor and the menu options have become very limited. This restaurant in general was not the cleanest and very run-down.

A solid meal after a long day of driving. Our waitress was very attentive to all of our needs. Salad, Soup and dessert bar was above average. I’d say a few items needed a little bit of attention, but nothing to be too concerned about. Would recommend to someone who is looking for a hot meal with outstanding service.

Came here for lunch with my mother. Wasn’t real busy. Got salad bar and a chicken sandwich. I will tell you the salad bar at this location is far smaller from the Hoss’s near my home. Boy was I surprised when I saw the portion of my sandwich. Our server Korrey was very kind and fast and provided excellent service.
To add I also bought Doordash here and everything was together in a very reasonable amount of time.

Was very busy this past Saturday evening, but, was greeted with a smile by Hostess and seated quickly. Was very clean inside. The girls were on it and nailed it!! Great job!!!. All the girls should be recognized for a job well done. The salad and Tostido bar, as well as, the soups and breads were clean, fresh and kept full. She worked her butt off to accomplish that and was moving non stop. I also noticed the hostess would chip in and help the waitresses when needed, to ensure the customers got their food hot and fresh. I ordered the House burger with fries ($14.95) (delicious) It was very satisfying to eat..it was done perfectly and the fries were hot. A myriad choices for desserts.
For those people that are more money conscious, I believe Hoss has a lunch special, which includes the salad bar, for $9.99, until 4pm on certain days. You have the choice of add-ons in addition.
My waitress, Bree, was extremely pleasant, and would check back on me at perfect intervals, even though she was “swamped” Bree ensured I had extra napkins, condiments and refreshed my drink, all without me asking. She is a good asset there.
Lastly, I would like to see Hoss’ be more competitive with the pricing of their steaks. Some options are pricy, for the size you get.
I had a pleasant time and would recommend anyone to stop in.

I ordered the flat iron steak medium and they gave it to me raw. When I brought it up to the waitress, she made me scoop it to a different plate to take back to the kitchen. She gave me the exact same piece of meat instead of a new one. I didn’t finish my meal and just left since they offered no other solution.
