The waitress was nice but the food was terrible. We got the Parmesan Crusted Steak Bites and I don’t remember the specific name of the dish but the other dish was a sliced steak dish of mushrooms, onions, and gravy on top of mashed potatoes.

The salad was better than most. So we had high hopes. The entrees looked fine on the plate but one bite was all we needed to know that there was a lot of prepackaged seasonings used. It was SO salty. The potatoes are definitely boxed potatoes and with it being smothered in salty, prepackaged gravy they were inedible. We decided to order a side of fries as that is hard to mess up.

The Parmesan steak bites were edible if I tapped the “juice” off of it.

I don’t use anything boxed or prepackaged when cooking at home. So, I can tell in one bite whether mashed potatoes are made fresh or from a box. Same with gravy. The waitress asked us if we wanted to take the leftovers and we said no.

Both dishes were $14.99 each. So, not the most expensive but enough to expect real boxed foods.

We have reason to pass through this area occasionally but we will not be stopping here again.

In town for the holidays and found this spot online. Fantastic food and atmosphere. It has an indoor restaurant/bar and an outside bar for smokers. Got the hamburger steak and it was phenomenal. My server, Sami, was fantastic. Attentive, friendly and armed with Dad Jokes. Prices are very reasonable (an Elijah Craig Old Fashioned was $9). Laid-back atmosphere, super chill spot. If I lived here, I’d visit all the time. 5/5 stars. Don’t sleep on this place.

I ordered over the phone and my food was ready within 15 minutes. The burgers were cooked perfectly and loaded with fresh toppings. The fries were real cut potatoes and not overly salted and not overly cooked. We enjoyed our meals. My only hang-up would be the pricing. It was worth it, but maybe update the online menu to reflect updated price-points. (I could have overlooked the correct prices, but I definitely attempted to make sure I was aware before ordering)

My partner and I were in town for a doctor’s appointment and decided to get an early dinner. When we walked in, we weren’t sure if we were supposed to seat ourselves or not. After standing there for approximately a minute, one of the staff told us to seat ourselves and our server would be right with us. We had barely sat down when we were given menus and our drink order was taken. We started with fried pickles for my partner and I got the loaded potato wedges. It took me longer than usual to decide what I wanted. Our waitress was patient and even offered to get me a small sample of the petal sauce that came with onion rings. (It was delicious as it’s similar to the sauce that comes with a blooming onion) Eventually I decided on the Garlic Parmesan Steak bites with onion rings as the side and a Caesar Salad. My partner got the Double Barrel Burger with fries. Everything came out as we ordered. Our total was around $50 which seems to be par for the course these days.
The only complaint I had was about the seats themselves. There’s no padding/cushions on any of the seats, which made for a uncomfortable dinning experience.
When we’re back in the area, I definitely would eat there again.

We stumbled upon this place when we stopped off of I95. The food was great and Sharon Hudson did an amazing job with her recommendations and service. She made the experience even better than just the food. I hope to be able to stop back by on my way home. Highly recommend.

Use to be a decent restaurant. But it has went down hill. They charge outrageous fees if you get a to go order it’s added on top of your bill The owner/manager whoever respond to messages online is rude and does not handle marketing well. Claims they are to busy to handle putting prices on their specials that they post online. Half the time their phones don’t work properly. Fries are hit or miss. Some dishes are over priced for what little you get. Customer service is lacking and could use a lot of help. They can not keep help and I have been told it’s due to how the owners/management talks to the staff. I have also witnessed it first hand too one time. Management talking in away that as an employee was very unprofessional. We need better steakhouse/seafood restaurant in walterboro but this place is not it. If you want a place to drink and shoot the breeze then go far because it definitely has the bar feel to it but as a restaurant/family, I definitely would not bring family here especially do not bring kids.

We like to avoid chains when we’re traveling so we stopped here for dinner on our way through town. When we pulled into the parking lot I was a little skeptical and we almost didn’t go inside… that would have been a real shame because our dinner was absolutely fantastic. I had the Cheesesteak with their chips and my husband had their Reuben with onion rings. You got plenty of food for your money and the flavors were absolutely outstanding. We also had delightful service from everyone working there. A real diamond. Don’t let the exterior keep you away.

We weren’t sure about going in to this restaurant. Looks so uninviting from the outside. We went in and it was like being inside a whiskey barrel. It is definitely a locals hangout but it was very inviting to these two just passing through travelers. The waitress, Sharon, was so friendly. My burger was cooked to perfection and so were the fries.. my companion had the Philly cheesesteak which he declared delicious. Next time we happen to be in the area we will be back. Easily accessible off of I95. Worth the stop.
