Technically, I haven’t been to this location in a while, but been hanging out in the old hood and been trying different spots. This is a cafeteria type service Mexican Resturant, but which is great because you can you have a large variety of food. Everything was made fresh and hot only thing is they do not go heavy on the salt so that’s a good thing for people trying to watch their sodium intake. Other than that food was hot fresh friendly ladies making the tortillas and making the tacos was good meat but lawn salt but other than that, it was good. I made two tacos out of all the tacos they make here are fat literally too much couldn’t finish the third one I have. I had like halfway because it was too bigbut definitely come check this place out.

Ive been eating the food at this restaurant since the 90s. My go to is the papa ranchera and carne guisada tacos. NOTE: The potatoes and egg and papa ranchera tacos are soft like mashed potatoes. Some people dont like that. But I do. The bacon is also very greasy. Its good but greasy.

This is a cafeteria style restaurant with many tables. I love their potato, bacon and cheese tacos! The potatoes are like mashed potatoes (I like them). They have a variety of items to make tacos out of from carne with chili, carne guisada, carne asada, barbacoa, weines with chili, bacon and egg, tripas and so much more. Their salsa is so good I always ask for more. The employees are fast and friendly they will get you through the line quickly. They have coffee and many bottled drinks as well as snacks. I believe they have specials as well.

My first visit here. The flour tortillas were fresh and soft, but not hot. The green chile sauce was spicy and good. The fajitas were tasteless and the serving was smal only half of the tortilla was filled. The barbaco taco didn’t have much flavor. This is cafeteria type service so the food wasn’t hot.

I was super hungry so that helped me finish these. They were all right. I got three. Barbacoa was good they don’t provide cilantro or onion so it was just plain and bland, I added some salt and salsa.
The egg and pagarles looked like mashed potatoes apparently they más themselves together it seems.
The tortillas seem store bought, even HEBs look better.
Still eddible and good value.

One of the best places in the West Side to get tacos to go or to sit down and enjoy for either breakfast or lunch. One of my top spots for sure. They got Pancho Villa and Emiliano Zapata and the Mexican revolution all over the walls carrying that pride and history into the atmosphere and the ladies that serve the tacos are great and make u feel like family and the dude that rings up all the orders who I believe is the owner as well is a great dude. I recommend this spot for sure.

Came in for some breakfast tacos after hearing about this place. Tortillas tasted dry and hard. Food tasted like it was from the day before. What was more disgusting was the two ladies in the front serving the food without gloves all while handling cash and working the register AND BACK to serving tacos with their bare hands. Not one time did I see any hand washing, just plain cross contamination. And in the middle of a pandemic? Gross. I’d only recommend this place if you want something cheap & fast.
