To preface, our server was great! Super nice and considerate. They were short staffed at the bar and our food came out before the drinks, but she was good at communicating with us and comped part of our drinks. The place itself was cute and trendy.

Gave it a 2 star because of the food. We ordered the poutine, pot roast, fish & chips, chicken & waffles, and chicken salad sandwich. We really liked the poutine. The chicken & waffles was good too, but the rest of it was kind of eh or disappointing. The fried fish didn’t hold any form and fell apart as soon as you touched it. I’m used to pot roasts being very tendered and smothered down, but this one was dry and there wasn’t much of the sauce on the plate to help flavor the dryness out. This part might be a preference thing, but mashed potatoes weren’t super creamy and some of the vegetables didn’t seem like it was fully cooked through. The veggies had a crunch to it that you would expect from a raw one. I also got the pickle margarita, which was kinda fun and unique.

Maybe we should have stuck with the brunch food since it is a brunch club, but the other entrees were kind of a let down.

i ordered an empire hash for takeout, and it arrived undercooked. in the description the onions should be caramelized, but these were pretty much raw. same with the potatoes. the onions even had the outer skin still on it. additionally my toast was burnt. my egg was undercooked. this was $17. i tried to call but the only options were to see the waitlist and some other stuff that werent helpful like sending an email.

This place was packed and for good reason! 5/5! We had the steak and eggs and the weekly specials for $20! The special came with appetizer, main meal and dessert. I had the pountine, salmon blt and donut flight. I seriously felt like I robbed the restaurant because for $20 boy oh boy did I get the most delicious meal!!! I was so full but I ate everything! The salmon blt sandwich was one of the most delicious sandwiches I’ve ever had! I was raving about it to my husband! His steak came cooked perfectly to his liking and he had nothing but good things to say about the chimichurri sauce. The salad that came with both of our meals was dressed perfectly and so good/fresh! Our server was attentive. Bathrooms clean! Loved the vibes! Will absolutely recommend and come back any time we’re in Madison!

Visited here at the recommendation of a recruiter for the company I applied for. It was a fantastic option for brunch. They offer all the classics, including biscuits, pancakes, french toast, and more. They really take everything to the extreme. Our server was friendly and took care of us. I particularly enjoyed the pancakes. We had to pack them up, not for lack of flavor but because of huge portions.

The atmosphere was booshy & fun. Coffee was good. My avocado toast tasted old and the. read was not really toasted at all. Not sure if this place is always like this but there were fruit flies flying around my breakfast at the bar!

I went last night with a friend for the first time for dinner before a show at the Overture. It was only a 6 minute walk after to the theater and we parked in the hotel ramp. The restaurant validates parking for 2 hours. First impressions were that the place is very nicely decorated with cool but modern mid-century vibes, but way too bright. There is a lot of lighting and I’m sure that’s great for brunch but for dinner, they should considered creating a bit more ambience by dimming things, especially above the bar and the LED clock.

Now onto the good parts! The service was very good, very attentive and relatively timely. The drinks, we had the pickle margarita and espresso martini, were well made and yummy. The food was excellent. I have Celiac and they have a lot of options and the menu is labeled well. The chicken milanese was the best gluten free breaded chicken I’ve ever had in my life. It was cooked well and the sauce was perfectly seasoned. I shared the Mediterranean salad (yummy) and my friend had the Truffle Mac and Cheese which she said was very good.

I was surprised at how many open tables there were. I hope business picks up so that Madison doesn’t lose another good restaurant. We will be back often.

Our server was great! And they were busy but the host said he could seat us immediately outside…we were so grateful! (2 of us were driving back home so couldn’t wait 30
minutes for a table)

First, my niece has Celiac so for those that have it and are going, it is a safe place. As usual I recommend telling them you have Celiac and therefore to do their best with cross contamination…prepare on a clean surface, clean hands/utensils, keep gluten items separate etc

All 3 of us loved our meal! We got the American Style breakfast which is what’s pictured and the Hot to Tot Burrito which was also very good

I came here for lunch with a friend and ordered the Brunch Club burger, figuring that the namesake burger on a brioche bun would be a safe choice. I could not have been more wrong.

To start with the bun, it was far from what I would consider a brioche. It was the most basic burger bun you could find, one that collapses under the weight of the burger as you try to eat it. The two patties were very greasy and lacked texture. The arugula was placed at the bottom of the hot, greasy patties, causing it to become soggy. Combine all of this, and you get a burger that feels like mush when you bite into it. Honestly, I feel like I would’ve had no trouble eating the burger if I had no teeth. I could’ve gotten a better quality burger at a fast food place for a fraction of the cost.

Looking at pictures of this same burger from other reviewers, it looks like they’ve changed suppliers, as it doesn’t look like the one I got.

My friend and I decided we would split a Tres Leches French Toast for dessert since we we were both craving something sweet.

The French toast was amazing—5/5, a night-and-day difference compared to the burger. So, if I ever go back, I would probably stick to the breakfast/brunch items.
