We loved our visit to this diner. Parking was a bit difficult. We went in the garage just to the north and it was $4 to park there, but a really quick walk. The nearby meters are less. The bacon, eggs and omelets were awesome and I heard good things about the waffles. I prefer my home fries cooked a little more, but others said they were just right! The waitresses were awesome… very helpful and friendly and the coffee was really good and refills kept coming. I’ll be back!

Joel and I had the pleasure of attending the private soft-opening event on Saturday at Dave’s Diner at 431 Peach St. What a fantastic new addition to Downtown Erie! The vibe is a perfect mix of retro-modern, and the menu has all the breakfast, lunch, and homestyle classics you’d hope for in a true diner.
Joel ordered the ham and cheese omelet, and I had the double breakfast—2 eggs over easy, bacon, wheat toast, and hash browns. Everything was delicious, fresh, and cooked just right. Our server, Marissa, was absolutely amazing—warm, attentive, and on top of everything.
A big thank you to Dave and Jenny for inviting us. We’re wishing you all the success with the new diner. Erie is lucky to have this spot!

This was a great breakfast and the service was also great. We parked on the side of the road but found out that you can park in the parking garage right next to Dave’s diner of Peach St and they validate your parking if you park there. The parking garage is connected so you don’t even have to walk outside. Definitely parking in the garage next time. Highly recommend this place! Great addition to downtown Erie.

Everything was great. Our server Tiffany was very attentive and friendly. The Rachel was very good, very meaty! The tuna melt was good but not enough mayo and too many onions. The onion rings and ranch were phenomenal! Loved the music played, very fitting.

My husband and I really enjoyed our 1st visit to Dave’s donor today. Our waitress, Andrea was friendly and helpful, checking back for coffee and drink refills. The food was delicious…I had their homemade pepper soup with Greek hamburger. My husband loved seeing they serve beer and drinks! The atmosphere was clean,bright. We will definitely be back and we recommend to our friends and family!!

Food is pretty good and decently priced. Great breakfast cocktail selection. Highly recommend the boozy banana foster milkshake. Our server Kathleen was amazing! Very attentive and friendly. The dinor is so nicely decorated, your classic 50s style. They keep the place very clean, which is always much appreciated. Missed this place so much when it shut down and we are so glad it’s back and better than ever! More seating than the previous location, so there were plenty of tables available when we arrived for brunch.

The food was great here and every single employee we talked to was in a great mood and really friendly! It really makes a difference to be around people who seem to enjoy their jobs! If you are Erie I would definitely recommend stopping in!

Back in late high school/early college, the original Dave’s Diner was open on Perry Square.
It was a top 3 breakfast in town for me.
I mourned their closing and was hopeful when I heard they would return. But I felt like, there’s no way they could measure up to the original.
They exceeded my memory.
New location embody a throwback and is more spacious than the original.
Service was kind and fast.
And the country fried steak and eggs was some of the best I’ve ever had. Every bite was extraordinary.
I love this place.
Welcome back Dave’s.

Meagan was our waitress friendly and was spot on service. Everyone there from the time greeted at the door were friendly. It is family friendly if you have children also. The food was reasonably priced and delicious. Environment was great and clean. A 50’s style diner love it! We will be back for sure!!!
