The tuna poke bowl was simply amazing, super fresh and perfectly balanced.

I go to Pura Vida almost every day in the Brickell area where I live and have always had a good experience. While passing by this South Miami location, I decided to stop for lunch, and unfortunately it was the worst experience I’ve had at Pura Vida so far.
The chicken tasted old and stale, extremely dry, and clearly not fresh. It felt like it had been sitting for a long time before being served. For a place that promotes fresh and healthy food, this was very disappointing. The texture and flavor were so bad that I couldn’t finish the meal. Definitely not worth the price.

Pura Vida is one of my favorite spots in Miami. The coffee is great, the brunch menu is fresh and delicious, and the whole vibe is just good energy. I have ordered in-person and via delivery apps from this location for years and since ~October 2025, Pura Vida has consistently made portion sizes smaller and smaller while charging the same amount of money, if not, more. I received a piece of toast with my $19 breakfast order this morning that was smaller than my literal child-sized hand. Absolutely ludicrous that a food chain that purports to sell high quality food will upcharge while decreasing the size of things like toast, one of their cheapest products to purchase, no doubt.
If you order delivery from them, be aware that they also have their employees pack plastic sauce cups directly next to HOT items in your order. So by the time you receive your order, you can have some extra microplastics melted into your food too. I have emailed Pura Vida about this a bunch of times and they said they would change the practice, yet never did.
Do better and get honest, Pura Vida.
I will not be giving you any more of my money until then. Shameful that you boast about opening new locations and continue to have this cheap and unhealthy approach to how you treat customers and the food they order.
