I so curious just chawanmushi need wait 30mins more? And the chawanmushi is ready for serving but dun wan give to the customer? It’s okay…That one is small thing. I was felt very disappointed and mad
is there got one hair inside the chawanmushi!! I responded to the staff but he did not say sorry for me. Waiting too long. The food taste very normal. The seafood not fresh. I will not coming again.

Tried all three of the new Zermatt x Sushi Express – Zhi Char Edition collabs, and overall, it was a fun experience! The abalone sushi was a standout for me, super soft with no fishy taste at all.
The sweet and sour salmon sushi was a surprise, it really captured that zhi char sweet and sour vibe, though it wasn’t quite my favorite. The cereal prawn was decent too, nothing too special but still tasty.
The ikura sushi was great. no fishy aftertaste, which is always a win in my book. I absolutely loved the mango crepe dessert; it’s not too sweet and has a nice hint of sourness that balances it out with a super fragrant mango scent. The fried chicken drumstick was also a hit!
The atmosphere was alright, chairs felt a little small and it did get a bit cramped with people sitting across from each other. But considering the price, I’d say it’s pretty understandable.
Definitely worth trying if you’re into sushi with a local zhi char twist!

Excellent service from Irene from sushi express seletar mall. Miso soup ran out but she remember us and remind us again when the miso soup is back. Awesome

Everything I tried was good. I am not really into Japanese foods but surprisingly I liked everything I tried here. I went there with my wife and kids to experience this. They accept paywave also, so the transaction is very smooth.

Arrived at 7.30pm ordered Maki. At 8pm I reminded them again of my order. At 8.45pm asked again on my order. Told me the kitchen stop making. What service? My understanding the staff informing that and the last order at 9pm and close at 9.30pm. Then make my order even if I order it at 9pm. I cannot accept that the kitchen is so lazy that from 7.30 till close 2 hours they stop making assortments that are finished on the belt and don’t make orders when clearly the last order is at 9pm. No wonder the variety of dishes is the worst among other outlets. I know they try not to waste food. But nobody asked them to make 10 rolls of Maki. They can make 1 or 2 rolls and 1 roll which can easily cut and fill 2 plates. No use giving free dessert dishes for service recovery. Ask the kitchen to wake up their lazy plans! Shame on you.

Good food for the price but writing this review to give big compliments to the staff working on 5 December 5pm. Young Chinese-speaking guy, running the floor by himself, handling cashier, server and cleaner duties, and yet still super polite and attentive. He deserves all kudos and a raise!!

Joke. Belt filled with stupid items nobody wants, order sashimi, 20 mins still not here during non-peak timing. Management needs to wake up. Garbage outlet compared to others.

During a non-busy period, even a simple bowl of udon took half an hour to be served.
Does the owner need to improve staff attentiveness and workflow management?
Forgetting orders during peak hours may be understandable, but this happening during a non-busy time reflects a poor working attitude and is disappointing.

Most covers were dirty. Service was bad. A staff, Marco, made me wait 30mins without delivering the plate of sashimi i ordered. And i called him 3x. He said wait wait then attended to someone else. Hygiene lacking.
Maybe staff shd be paid more so they can employ more staff. Very shorthanded. And affects food quality and safety greatly. Lost my appetite.

Sushi Express is a nice place to enjoy quick and affordable sushi. All the plates are at a low fixed price, and the food comes around on a conveyor belt, so it’s easy to pick what you like.
The sushi is fresh and tasty, especially the salmon and tamago. They also have hot dishes like miso soup and steamed egg. It’s good for a fast meal or a quick sushi craving.
The restaurant is usually clean and service is fast. It can get busy sometimes, but overall it’s a good place for simple, budget-friendly sushi.
