Nice restaurant but with too many food choices, the nachos were OK but too big, the cheese crust were fried in the same oil as fish as some really tasted like fish. The ribs were great but full for 2 is too much food, the Mahi Mahi was overcooked but as it came with “soup” that helps to enmascarade the cooking time. Beer selection great and service for young was fantastic. Missing real meat cuts. Wisconsin has best meat of USA.

I ordered the firecracker shrimp with sweet potato fries and hushpuppies for the sides. The shrimp were delicious, the sauce had a good kick. I enjoyed the sweet potato fries, not too crispy and not to thick. The hushpuppies unfortunately had FAR too much onion in them and I didn’t finish a single one. The floors are sticky and our server seemed new, the young man visited the table very infrequently. Outside of the issues I mentioned, everyone else at my table enjoyed their food and drinks, it was a pleasant meal and the decor is well themed.

This place has the best food and service of all the places I have been in a while.
My burnt ends came out a little too tough, and the waitress when asked how everything was, and I let her know she brought out a whole new order.
The manager came out and apologized and took my meal off the bill.
Waitress was super friendly
Food was overall pretty great.
My daughter said her chicken tenders could have used a little bit more seasoning, but otherwise, it was good.
The sweet potato fries OH MY GOSH were to die for. The cheese curds were on the top of our cheese curds scrumptious list as well.
Cant wait to be living in Madison soon to frequent this place amd take our guests.

I have been to each North and South location and they are all great but I do have to call out the exceptional service at Verona. From the moment walking in the host and manager were there to welcome and seat us. Then our server Abi C was just phenomenal. She was so friendly and is great at giving you an experience by spacing out time between drinks, starters, entrees and dessert. She also even sang a little happy birthday when she brought the birthday boy his dessert which was super sweet! Gold star for the manager walking around and checking on tables. I also was able to witness another server in the same section who was equally as awesome with his tables. All in all the customer service here is amazing! Obviously the food is delicious too.

We took our two young kids there for the first time on a busy night. The hostess was very kind and understanding of our situation. Our server was AMAZING and we would be very happy to have her as our server again.

I ordered a bunch of different food for pickup. Long story short I got home and found that they had forgotten my 5 cornbread muffins(which are thee BEST). So I called down and there was mo fuss. When I got back down there to pick up my 5 muffins there were not 5 but 10 waiting for me along with a 25$ gift card. This is an establishment that not only has delicious bbq but also admits if they have made a mistake and they make it more than right. I will go back again. As a matter of fact I’m eating some as I write this from a completely separate visit. Thank you north and south of Verona!! Great work. Another satisfied customer. Oh, and the burnt ends are damn good! Sorry about the empty plate photo but it was just too good to wait!

Best fish fry I’ve had in a while! My girlfriend and I both got the taste of three (haddock, cod, and perch) my favorite was the perch, and hers was the cod. But they were all excellent with an amazing light and crispy batter. Cheesy potatoes and coleslaw on the side were both delicious. $5 rail old fashioneds were made perfectly. The service was attentive and friendly!
