Just a little walk off the boardwalk but totally worth it. Quality meal for sure. I got the sliced brisket sandwich (minus the bun) decided to use those calories on the hush puppies! Plenty of seating and it was nice and cool inside. Extremely reasonable priced for the portions.

first time us stile BBQ for me, so we are travaling from europe and saw that this was a high recomanded place, so of we go, we where friendly welcomed at the counter and the food options where well explained. didnt had to wait to long befor we got our baskets. nice vibe in and outside. the food? see the pictures. it was perfectly done! realy would recomand it to all. and the portions.. to big to eat it all. fair price 5 stars! for good bbq food.

We stopped in 30 minutes before closing and got our food to go. (They wrapped up so well it was still hot after we got delayed and finally got back to our hotel!)
We had chicken tenders, hush puppies, pasta salad, Carolina pork sandwich. Everything was perfect and our servers were super friendly and answered all our questions.
My regret was not getting a sticker or tee.

Came here off a whim, was wanting BBQ. First off, they sell alcohol which was awesome lol. Fried chicken was probably some of the best fried chicken I’ve ever had. Ribs were up there as well. I got the beefy beans and they were great too. Staff super friendly. You can tell that this place is locally run. Owner came in and was super nice to the customers. Would recommend 1000% over and over.

If you are visiting virginia beach this is the go to place im from nc deep country when I say the food is very very delicious the fried chicken was good the collard greens to be honest taste better than any restaurant i have ordered collard greens from the beef ribs fell off the bone when I say everything was delicious I mean it try it for yourself when I visit virginia beach again I will be visiting this restaurant i give it a A+++ thank you guys for serving me very delicious food I have eaten at restaurants and had some complaints I have no complaints at this restaurants i promise the worker’s are awesome restaurant clean see you guys soon o yeah and the price is worth the food amount they give very worth it went into restaurants smiling come out smiling and happy o and to mention the food was fresh and hot

I stopped by mid day for lunch, the lady at the counter was kind. Ordered my food no problem, the Brisket was a pure strip of fat.
BBQ tasted like straight vinegar was dry and not fresh. The sides would’ve tasted better if they would’ve pre purchased from food lion. I expressed my dissatisfaction with the lady at the counter she handled the situation great. My only other complaint is the cook couldn’t keep his composure and had to put his two sense into the conversation. Food was sub par. I suggest visiting Dave’s BBQ or any other establishment in the Hampton roads I’m local and have tried every place.

Last week I ordered from Beach bully it had grill marks on the chicken. I got to have chicken dark all dark. It came with a wing two thighs and some drumsticks however, today when I ordered, there wasn’t no grill marks. The chicken was pale on some parsley chicken it was just like a dark brown. It taste like something I have from Kroger‘s. It didn’t even taste like it was grilled or barbecue However, I did ask for no barbecue and a chicken, but there was no grill marks. I don’t know if this happened because they had all day or because I didn’t come in and order it so they can get a tip because some restaurants do that so you can get a tip they did it right the first time and I spent 60 something dollars The king ribs was OK this time last time like I said when I ordered it it was great taste perfectly grill. Hopefully I might order again. I don’t know or I may go in and get it.

I have eaten here for years…in person, carry out and at work catered functions…and today was different…it was special! There is an amazing team member named Chelsea…and I walked in and the restaurant was spotless. Between customers she was cleaning up to make the restaurant shine…even the railings. She was polite, customer service focussed and this is the part that was extra special…she was happy to be there and happy to be working with each and every one of us that came into the restaurant. A rarity these days…the food was perfect (brisket is out of this world) and it made me love this restaurant even more.
