Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

They never question my order and not just this establishment several others ,commerce TX, carrolton tx, waxahachie tx, Dallas tx,Katy tx,my son that passed worked in balch springs store as window on 3rd shift after school was 17 and went to West mesquite. It took 2 years before I could step into any wataburger. Until a viral video of a highschool student challenged by others to eat a 4 meat burger. My son told me beat that dad for me . Now as of today I’m at 7 patties+7 slices cheese, bacon,chopped onions sauteed onions, avocado, lettuce,pickles,mushrooms,bell peppers and jalapenos, large Dp shake,large fry . And I may get a second look and ask was order for real and everyone happily makes my order and is spot on every time . This is Texas hospitality and service …above and beyond great

Tried ordering at 12:20 on a Friday afternoon in the drive thru. Waited for over 20 minutes. They helped every car in The other lane, looked at me when I pulled forward to ask for help, and they walked away from my vehicle. I pulled up to the window and waited for someone to help. Everyone just kept walking by. I ended up just driving away. Was so bummed about this experience.

At 4pm, there were 4 dine-in customers in the restaurant. There were 10 employees working, but the lobby was filthy. Every table was dirty and floors needed cleaned, but half of the staff were laughing and joking behind the counter. Fries were cold and soggy; very under cooked. Burger was good and service was quick.

Service is INCREDIBLY SLOW. I waited at the drive through for over 5 minutes without anyone answering. Then they have to take your card in the inside to run the payment.
No one had a sense of urgency. Food mediocre as always but this is what my son chooses.

I tried for 3 years to get to one of these locations as I heard it was one of the best burgers around in Texas. I live in Canada so only get down to Texas a few times a year.
Needless to say I was extremely disappointed by getting a sludge of a burger.
Squished stale bun heavily coated in mustard and not any of the higher end mustard either.
As soon as I picked it up the amount of grease running off it was alarming. The 2 patties were smashed together and under cooked. Lack of fresh toppings and any flavours were over shadowed by the overwhelming taste of mustard.
The onion rings were done well but lacking in quantity. The overall cleanliness was also subpar and place has a worn and sticky feel to it as did the booth where I sat.
This location needs a remodel and better management to survive. I will never be returning to this franchise again as there are just too many better choices available.

I ordered my food 9:00 pm and is now 10:00 pm they take too long to get your food the cooks are standing around. I don’t recommend this restaurant.
