Had a great dining experience at The Butcher’s Table. The food was excellent and well prepared, flavorful, and clearly made with quality ingredients. The steaks were cooked perfectly and very satisfying.

Service was attentive and friendly without being intrusive, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. The atmosphere was cozy and comfortable, suitable for both casual meals and special occasions.

Overall, a very solid place if you’re looking for good quality meat and a pleasant dining environment. Will definitely come back again.

Overall experience was great. One of the waitresses, Qistina, is so warm & friendly that it made our dining experience great. She even to us how to enjoy our smoked ganache dessert!

After dinner, she showed us something about cocoa tallow which made my husband & I intrigued. We’ll come again!

We ordered Dry Age F1 MS4/5 Wagyu & 21-day Truffle Ribeye and both were so tender & flavourful. The Bone Marrow Croquettes was so good!!

This restaurant ain’t playing around. Excellent dry aged meats and well thought out sides which complemented well.

We had the F1 wagyu picanha and 21-day cocoa tallow aged ribeye. The steaks were nicely salted already, but the additional salt flakes provided was appreciated. Maple-glazed brussels sprouts with guanciale is an interestingly yummy option, alongside the classic fresh onion rings.

Stella was amazing as she introduced the menu to us and offered recommendations to her good knowledge.

Overall it’s a great steakhouse experience!

I had an amazing dining experience at The Butcher Table. The halal beef dishes were all tip-top — rich in flavour and cooked to perfection. The aged beef and F1 wagyu were incredibly juicy, tender, and full of depth, easily the highlight of the meal. The oxtail was another standout, so soft and tender that it fell right off the bone.

On top of that, the service was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Overall, a truly satisfying experience. Highly recommended for anyone who loves quality beef!

It might just be us, but I was quite disappointed with both the food and the Ramadan dining setup at this restaurant.
We made a reservation and were required to place a $30 deposit ($10 per person) as a no-show collateral. That was understandable.

We were also asked to preorder our meals so the kitchen could prepare in advance during the fasting month, which also made sense.

When we arrived, the ambience was lovely. The restaurant felt cosy and had a slightly “atas” vibe. However, I was surprised to see a shot glass of water and three small dates placed on the table. I assumed the water was meant for breaking fast, which felt a little odd as a shot glass seemed unusually small. I understand that water may be chargeable, but it still felt rather minimal for iftar.

Since I arrived first, I quickly called my friends to confirm their drink orders and placed them before iftar time.

When it was time to break fast, there was no adzan and the background music was still playing. I was slightly surprised given that this is a Muslim establishment, but at the same time I reminded myself not to feel entitled as we are living in Singapore. So we simply proceeded to break our fast.

About five minutes later our appetisers arrived. However, there was still no sign of the drinks we had ordered earlier. The restaurant was not particularly crowded, but we eventually had to nudge the waitress before our drinks arrived.

The waiting continued after that. Despite pre-ordering our steaks, they were served about 20 minutes later. We initially assumed the meat might require more careful preparation.

When the steaks arrived, the first thing I noticed was that my steak looked noticeably different in size compared to my friend’s — hers was wider while mine was slimmer. I didn’t think too much about it since cuts can vary.

Unfortunately, once I tasted the steak, I was quite disappointed. The meat was tough and difficult to chew, even though it was cooked medium rare. I’m not a meat connoisseur, but I have eaten various cuts of steak locally and overseas, including Wagyu MS4–MS6, so I do have some basic familiarity with steak texture.

My friends tried my steak and agreed that it was tough. I eventually stopped eating it because I simply couldn’t enjoy it. Considering the steak was $55, it was quite disappointing, but at that point I decided to just let it go.

The sourdough with bacon jam was another mixed experience. The bacon jam itself was delicious, but the sourdough was toasted so hard that it actually hurt our gums to chew.
The sweet potato fries were fried extremely crisp, almost too crisp, to the point where we wondered if that was intentional. The onion rings were crispy but the batter itself was quite bland, though the sauce helped make it more enjoyable.

Our total bill came close to $100 per person, which we are generally fine paying for a good meal. However, by the end of the dinner, we all agreed that we probably would not return. There are other steakhouses that offer better value for a similar price point.

Before leaving, I discreetly informed the waitress that my steak was quite tough. She explained that it might be due to the cut of meat I had chosen. I appreciate that the staff tried to handle the situation professionally, but personally I felt the steak quality simply did not meet expectations.
Perhaps it was just unfortunate luck that my particular cut turned out this way, as my friend’s steak was more edible than mine.

While the ambience and concept were promising, the execution of both the food and Ramadan service unfortunately did not meet our expectations.

We had a truly wonderful experience at The Butcher’s Table at Arab Street tonight. The food was excellent, but what really stood out was the hospitality and service.

We arrived around 9pm knowing the restaurant was closing at 10pm. One of the staff kindly informed us that they usually don’t accept walk-ins at that time, and was honest that he didn’t want us to feel rushed while dining. We appreciated the transparency and decided to leave, as we didn’t want to rush our meal and were okay finding another place.

To our surprise, the head chef A. Rashid Mahmood rushed out to call us back, warmly welcoming us in and clarifying that the restaurant actually closes at 10.30pm. We were really thankful and decided to dine in.

Our waitress was knowledgeable and gave great steak recommendations, and every steak we ordered was cooked beautifully and tasted amazing. Chef Rashid also personally came to our table to apologise for the earlier misunderstanding, which we truly appreciated. On top of that, he generously treated us to a complimentary starter, dessert, and one complimentary sauce to try. Everything was given genuinely and thoughtfully, without any sense of rushing us at all.

Despite the late hour, the entire experience felt relaxed, warm, and perfect. Exceptional food paired with heartfelt service. We’re truly grateful and will definitely be back. Highly recommended.

Went here for dinner to celebrate my hubby’s birthday, and the whole experience was wonderful. Getting a table was a breeze — we were seated within 5 minutes.

The food was excellent. Since my husband is a big meat lover, he really enjoyed the steak here. We ordered:
• Grilled sourdough with bacon jam
• Bone marrow croquettes
• Dry-aged Black Angus hanger steak
• Classic grilled chicken
• Drinks (tea)

The steak doneness was chef’s kiss — perfectly cooked and incredibly flavourful.
We were also pleasantly surprised with a complimentary panna cotta!

The ambience was relaxing and cozy, making it a perfect spot for a birthday dinner.

Came back for our second visit, this time for NYE, and it did not disappoint! The service was just as warm and welcoming as before. Stella greeted us with a smile and even entertained our baby while we looked through the menu. She’s very knowledgeable about the steaks here, take her recommendation and you won’t regret it.

We also got to meet Chef Rashid, who made corn puree for our baby’s first food experience, which was such a sweet touch. From our conversation, we could tell he puts his heart in providing the best experience for diners. The steaks were perfectly cooked, the sides were delicious, and the panna cotta was the perfect balance of tangy and sweet.

It’s definitely worth the splurge, and we’ll be coming back for sure!
