First time here and super impressed with food. Great selection of pub food Now don’t get upset I called it that – pub food is comfort food Easy to eat and delicious! Bacon appetizer I highly suggest. It was fun and super tasty. See photo! Grilled cheese was huge! Dripping with melted golden cheeses. Wings are very tasty. Honey bourbon and their own sauce Hanger steak sandwich was done just right. The pizza was a thin crust with great flavor and toppings. And the apple desert was big enough to share by 3. We will be back for sure. Service was great. We had awesome waitresses that were on point and kept our entire table fed and plenty of drinks ! I hope this place keeps going. They are doing it right! Food was outstanding, restaurant was clean service was perfect.

When the old bar closed, my entire friend group felt displaced…and then the Flying Pig flew in in glorious fashion. We found “our” bar again and the place is the best it’s ever been. The beer selection is great with a tap list covering multiple styles, not just the usual taps overtaken by IPAs. The food is excellent; being here at least once a week i still struggle choosing what I want to eat and have tried most everything on the menu. And the atmosphere top notch. We are here for Quizzo trivia religiously every Wednesday, which is my favorite night of my week. Service is just as good; Daniel has become a friend and the whole staff is friendly and attentive no matter what night i am here and on a first name basis with most. And to round out the absolutely amazing nature of the bar, the owner is out and involved and obviously cares. Not only about the quality of this place, but the local community. I hear and see frequent examples of him giving back and supporting those around, even helping us out in our “old guys playing soccer to have a reason to exercise and also drink beer” league. I love this place, whether hanging here with the team, playing trivia with my friends, or bringing my kids for a great meal out with them.

We had a great experience. Food was amazing!! We finished every last bite. Jimmy was an amazing waiter. He was very fun and helpful when we asked about items on the menu, and he was extremely attentive. Great guy! We will be back!

We are here from NY for a cheer competition! We had Melanie as our server. She was phenomenal. Absolutely amazing! Her attitude and spunk really kept us laughing and happy. The manager Kim also came and greeted us! It was overall one of my personal favorite experiences!

First time here, and wow, what a great experience! The food was insanely good—fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. This is the 4th time (2 times a band played) and every time the service has been poor and the food wrong and horrible. I kept trying to give the place a go but from now on we’ll just go AFTER we eat to see bands play and just order drinks.
The last time, I got the buttermilk chicken sandwich with Nashville hot sauce (was supposed to come with sauce). No sauce, sent it back, same sandwich (from being in the industry previously you should definitely give a new fresh plate) and no sauce again, not to mention it was the most thinnest piece of chicken I’ve ever seen. McDonald’s has thicker chicken Sandwiches. Just very disappointing and sad for the price! Really wanted to like this place but unfortunately it’s a no for me, my family and friends.

We are visiting from central NY for a cheer competition and we had Melanie as our server! Melanie is absolutely incredible and deserves a raise and a promotion. We loved her so much. She brought such a positive vibe to our table! After a long day of driving we were all exhausted but Melanie amped us up and we were ready to party after leaving! The Italian chicken sandwich was to die for. The atmosphere was beautiful and welcoming. I will come back just to visit this place again <3

I love going here! I’ve originally been the one out in PA. Glad they made one in Jersey. Their burgers are delicious and I got the tacos this time. Wasn’t as delicious, but still tasty nonetheless. I will gladly be back in the future. I love the pretzel and cheese they have.

The Flying Pig Tavern & Tap offers a warm, rustic atmosphere that immediately makes you feel at home. From the moment we walked in, the service stood out, our server, Melanie, was exceptional, attentive, and truly made our visit special. The food was just as impressive…we had the French Onion soup & Honey Bourbon Chicken Sandwich, and it was absolutely delicious. Their summer cocktail menu is also a highlight, with refreshing options perfect for the season. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and will definitely be returning!
