The only reason we gave 4 stars is the boba. The tapioca pearls were too hard and added a cinnamon-y/floral flavor to the tea that I did not like.
The staff is friendly, the service is quick, and the portions are generous. Whether you’re eating there or taking it home, it always hits the spot. Highly recommend if you’re craving good Chinese food!
Edit:
It’s interesting to me that you knew exactly which customer wrote this review with so few remarks made. That tells a lot. Since you decided to speak on the experience from your end I’ll go ahead and speak from mine.
Insinuating that my review isn’t honest by putting the word in quotes is passive aggressive and unnecessary. Take responsibility and ownership of this bad interaction.
Let me start by saying I am not a regular customer. I don’t live in Lynchburg. I was visiting and this was my first interaction with your business.
This wasn’t my first time ordering Chinese food. I have never had an issue ordering extra brown sauce on the side from any other Chinese restaurant. When I asked if I could order extra brown sauce on the side you did not say yes. You immediately said “this not enough for you”? There is a more professional way to inform the customer of “too much salt” than asking them “this is not enough for you?”
You never mentioned anything about salt content.
I always ask for extra brown sauce on THE SIDE because I enjoy it with fried rice. It had nothing to do with the dish you attempted to freshen up by stirring what little contents were available in the warming pan. The comment you made was rude. The food looked like it had been sitting there all day. There were no other customers in the entire restaurant when my daughter and I walked in. You and another employee were sitting in a booth on your phones. As far as what I said as I was leaving, I said “try not to be so rude to your customers next time”.
Is that “honest” enough for you?!
