This location of Phil’s shares a buildin with Amy’s ice cream, which has its own entrance through Phil’s, just like at the more northern location on 183.
There are several tables and booths inside along with several tables outside along a large outdoor play ground shared with Amy’s.
I enjoyed the 78756 burger’s mild spice from green peppers and creamy toppings, but prefer the spicier 78704 burger. Both are great with sweet potato fries. They also serve beer and have happy hour deals.
They have a free parking lot shared with Amy’s and some street parking nearby.

Phil‘s is a local Austin hamburger place that paired up with Ami’s long time ago. They have several different versions of burger, named after Austin neighborhoods or ZIP Codes. They also have a pretty good hot dog, but my favorite deal is the mini burgers where you can get two or three to mix and match them to get different types. They have normal fries and sweet potato fries, and both are excellent. There is a shared indoor dining space with Amy‘s and another outdoor space that has lots of playground stuff for kids to play on.

On the way to whataburger we found Phil’s icehouse we had never tried it before my wife and I decided to try !!!!!!! Well well well we start with the bad attitude of the cashiers. We visited on 7-10-2025 in the afternoon the portions of fries a small portion the menu said that my hamburger came with avocado they gave me guacamole the same small portion less than a teaspoon the soda a plastic glass and small glass we definitely had to go to whataburger I hope the owner improves things here!!!!! NOW

The food is so darn good here! The chicken sandwich I had was one of the best I’ve had in a long time and the sweet potato fries are delicious. My husband had a traditional burger and he also enjoyed it a lot. This place has become our new favorite burger joint.

Cecilia (cece? not sure) goth cashier has excellent and reliable customer service. Also manager Zach was great as well. Kitchen was extremely efficient and brought me my 78704 (would recommend) in a timely manner. Overall Five Stars ! Amy’s needs some work (customer service) but review coming soon for that

Great place to have a burger. Ordered the regular cheeseburger and it exceeded my expectations. The meat was delicious, fresh veggies and the best part was the jalapeño sourdough bread.
Can’t stress enough how enjoyble the fresh hot bun tasted. I will be coming back again!

Any place that can put an egg on my burger automatically deserves a 5 star from me! Their burgers were so good and a pretty good size considering the price! They’re put on these delicious sourdough buns, and the patties are not too thick, which I really appreciate (I dislike thick patties very much!) The service was very top-notch as well! Literally, the only complaint I had was that their drink cups were a bit small, so we had to refill them more frequently. But seriously, who cares when the food is so delicious! Thank you, everyone at Phil’s, for a satisfyingly tasty meal!
